WASHINGTON A key congressional committee has already gained access to President Donald Trump's dealings with two major financial institutions, two sources familiar with the House probe tell NBC News, as a court ruling Wednesday promised to open the door for even more records to be handed over.
Wells Fargo and TD Bank are the two of nine institutions that have so far complied with subpoenas issued by the House Financial Services Committee demanding information about their dealings with the Trump Organization, according to the sources. The disclosures by these two banks haven't been previously reported. Both TD Bank and Wells Fargo declined to comment for this story.
Wells Fargo provided the committee with a few thousand documents and TD Bank handed the committee a handful of documents, according to a source who has seen them.

"two sources familiar with the House probe tell NBC News"
Name them.
Sounds like a witch hunt to me. They ARE retrying Pres. Trump.
Must know he’ll be elected for a second term since they’re gathering enough to “investigate” for at least the next few years.
Absolutely sick. I know it’s wrong but I really can’t wait to see a democrat darling get this same treatment.
Having worked at a large commercial bank, I can tell you that a legal supeana is the key to open the doors.
Without one, they do not give out information.
Thats how it works in the world outside DC.
subpoenas
My autocorrect acted like it had never seen this word before.
Where is the fight-back on these idiots who have no boundaries on destruction? Judicial Watch does passive GOPs job.
the more time that the msm and dems have to prepare, the bigger Barr’s MOAB better be
My auto correct tries to add really weird words to “my dictionary” all the time!
They have nothing. They are trying to get President Trump’s popularity down by constant negative press and bogus investigations.
So some legal logic / thought exorcise-
Abortion is based on the presumption of the right to privacy in the Constitution. What can be more “personal” and mandate the need for privacy than finance? If any person or business can be compelled to give up papers of a third party, then the right to privacy does not exist.
So the very basis for justification of abortion .... does not exist.
I am of the opinion that the Dems are playing with fire here.
Wells Fargo eh, does not Buffett own about 10% of that banks stock. I would bet he authorized this without notice to the account owner.
These financial witch hunts by the dems make me more angry about them by the day. I hope as a last resort he nukes DC citing it is an enemy encampment on US soil.
I’m not sorry I no longer have dealings with Wells Fargo.
I earned more interest at my local credit union the first month I was there than I earned at Wells Fargo in the previous 4 years.
Could be fake news, but if you've had any dealings whatsoever, or followed Wells Fargo, you would put absolutely NOTHING past them! Their Headquarters, by the way, is in San Fran Nan's ghetto of San Francisco.
Every amateur accountant in the country will allege crimes.
All Trump can do is declare "the IRS has found nothing wrong, so shut up".
Hillery and Bill have defrauded millions, but we can't get the records.
How is this legal? Have liberals no shame? No shame at all?
And the Trump Corp. should file “fiduciary malfeasance” torts in 3...2...
But they won’t because anything congress says they have found will be proven as fabricated...they have no credibility.
Agreed!
Pelosi and Schumer remind us that the branches are co-equal.
If Congress can demand, say, tax returns from members of the Executive branch, and they are co-equal branches, then the executive branch can demand those same records from members of Congress!
Key to your statement...a LEGAL subpoena.
Congressional subpoena’s are not an instrument of the judiciary.
