To me, the most important statement in this story is the following: An NBC News analysis finds that at least 14 different Democratic-led House committees are investigating various aspects of Trump and his presidency, with 50 different inquiries that are seeking documents from the executive branch or outside entities.

Sounds like a witch hunt to me. They ARE retrying Pres. Trump.

In the interest of transparency for the American people, I believe the President needs to sign an executive order that makes all financial documents open to the public of the Speaker of the house and all committee chairs. It’s the only way to be sure these positions aren’t being held by criminals.

Abortion is based on the presumption of the right to privacy in the Constitution. What can be more “personal” and mandate the need for privacy than finance? If any person or business can be compelled to give up papers of a third party, then the right to privacy does not exist.

So the very basis for justification of abortion .... does not exist.

Three questions:

How do they know what banks to circularize. IOW where did the lead material come from.

Second, so what is the point? Perhaps to deny Trump and his family any access to capital markets due to the potential for these witch hunts dragging the bank into an abyss.

What is the legislative purpose? The criteria for president are laid out in the constitution. No where does it say he should not be a businessman. So, any other purpose would be to do those duties of the executive branch. That was done, no collusion, no obstruction.

POTUS should personally sue everyone involved for violations of the Privacy Act. This committee is supposed to oversee the proper operations of our financial institutions, not individuals. There is no legitimate need for for these records in order to properly do their job.
