Trump is definitely goading them towards impeachment. I think he believes all the bombs he has yet to drop will be even more lethal for the Dems if they are in the middle of trying to impeach him. Imagine, in the middle of discussing the collusion theory, indictments come down on Comey, Brennan, Ohr, Strzok, Baker, and more for crimes related to the launching of the collusion investigation. It'll be like bombing their house while they're hosting a dinner party.
