Has the liberal media ever met a Democrat it couldn't characterize as a centrist? Take Barack Obama. He had the most liberal voting record in the Senate. But that didn't stop Politico, for example, from in 2008 publishing "Obama’s steady centrism."
That same kind of false advertising was on display on today's Morning Joe regarding Pete Buttigieg. The panel was gaga over Buttigieg's town hall performance of last night on Fox News, leading Joe Scarborough to declare:
"This guy is going to play an important role in the mainstreaming of the Democratic Party for many years to come. And believe you me, that is exactly what he does, regardless of ideology, Mayor Pete mainstreams [the] Democratic Party."

Buttigieg is hard-left. But as with all Dem candidates, the liberal media is trying to pass him off as “mainstream” or “centrist.”

Buttigieg is the most dangerous Democrat to come along in a good while, more dangerous even than Obama. He can make outright MURDER sound wholesome and Christian and compassionate. And he is young enough to be influential for many, many years to come. We ignore him at our peril.
I caught a small snippet of Alfred E. Newman when he was talking about the rising costs of college. Lots of yada, yada, yada on how we needed to expand this program or that program to provide more aid. Not a word on how costs have risen massively to soak up every dollar of available aid.
