The media does this on abortion questions. They give the pro-lifers 3-5 potential answers and give the pro-abortion crowd only one answer. Then, when the polls are reported, they claim "more respondents" chose the pro-abortion answer than any of the others while, if you add the different pro-life answers, they come out to 60-75% of the responses.

Rosenbergs were convicted of espionage, for nuclear weapons, not convicted of treason.

The US was not at war with the Soviet Union, nor was there any Congressional authorization for military action against the USSR, so treason as defined by the Constitution did not apply.

By any definition, Jane Fonda and John Kerry committed treason during the Vietnam war.

So treason only applies to a declared war? Maybe. There’s wiggle room to include the Rosenbergs, imho. Russia was at drawn daggers with the US right after they totally rolled the US at Yalta and the other post-war conferences, and the Rosenbergs giving them the nuclear secrets made mutually assured destruction possible. But if treason couldn’t include the Rosenbergs in the absence of a declared war, it certainly couldn’t include Brennan, Hillary, Comey and pals. Anyway, they got the chair, so I have hopes of seeing them all fry for whatever crimes.

He can say whatever he wants and I don’t doubt this for a minute. But until I start seeing handcuffs and trials I’m not getting my hopes up. Personally I’m tired of all the “bombshell” and “this is the end” articles. Put up or shut up.

I think its sedition, rather than treason.

I suspect Trump is right, as usual. He probably knows things that aren't in the public domain yet. The players were probably not only trying to eliminate Trump, but were also giving aid and comfort to the "enemies" of the United States ... such as delivering pallets of cash to Iran for who knows what wicked purpose. Did they try to have a rogue state missile take out Air Force 1?

US Code re Treason: "Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason ..."

On the other hand, sedition seems to require conspiracy and force or forceful intent, so such a charge would be just as damning.

US Code re Seditious Conspiracy: "If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined ... or imprisoned ..."
