You will lose a gunfight with a swat team.

Well, dang, I understand adrenaline running, but that is some bad shooting.

So long, loser. Enjoy Hell.
To: hapnHal
58 times?! Sounds like the police dept. was using a
high-capacity assault weapon!Aren't those supposed to be illegal?!
And isn't the police dept. supposed to first try to shoot the victim in the hand, or somethin'? Or how about just negotiating? One of the policeman could offer himself as a hostage...

Alcaraz was in possession of a 40-caliber semi-automatic handgun... Well, there's your problem right there. If you're going to take on at least 18 guys armed with assault rifles, shotguns, hand grenades, and backed up by armored vehicles, you're gonna want something more than a .40 S&W. Maybe something in a .45.

Ive seen a Swat team qualify at the NRA range at Raton, NM. They were using B-27 targets at 7 yards. Too Easy. They did look appropriately tactical in their uniform and holsters
Could explain the high round count versus hits of this other SWAT team.
To: hapnHal
That is pathetic shooting!

To: hapnHal
My goodness those police officers are crack shots. Only took them 58 rounds to get the perp!

And they want to restrict us non-trained civilians to less than 10 round magazines? Because we should be able to protect ourselves with 10? If the police need 58 to bring down a perp I want at least that many.

I would make a snarky comment about Range Time but I know from experience the Tighter the Pucker the Looser the Shot Grouping.
