New York Mayor Bill de Blasio made his case for president in an appearance on ABC's "Good Morning America" after releasing a video announcing his candidacy on YouTube earlier Thursday morning. .
He made it clear a large part of his strategy will be to attack President Donald Trump. "Donald Trump is playing a big con on America, I call him 'Con Don' every New Yorker knows we know his tricks, we know his playbook. I know how to take him on," he told ABC Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos.
Trump wasted no time firing back.
Within minutes, he tweeted de Blasio is “considered the worst mayor in the U.S., will supposedly be making an announcement for president today. He is a JOKE, but if you like high taxes & crime, he’s your man. NYC HATES HIM!”

We are one of the five boroughs but we voted close to 60 percent Trump and though that jerk affects us, it’s not nearly as much as the other boroughs because he knows if he tries his social experiments here there will several hundred Italians saying “#### you”.

Fun, the “minor” candidates, prominent enough to have wikipedia pages. The most prominent of them appears to be conservative filmmaker Ami Horowitz who is running as a troll! First troll bid for the other party’s nomination? (insert McCain/Romney joke). He has a long way to go to get enough donors to have a chance to make it. I don’t think there is a minimum donation so maybe give him a buck.
