I read somewhere he has a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Given some of his nonsensical statements on climate he must have flunked his Thermodynamics courses. I also read he did work for Boeing at one time. He ad a entry-level engineering job which he used primarily to finance his breaking into show business - originally as a night club comic.

As you know Mr. Nye, a key part of science is debate, vigorous and ongoing debate. So why not set up a debate between you and a climate change "denier"? The guy who started the Weather Channel would be a good choice. He's a denier.

My son used to work in flight operations on a solar observatory satellite mission. He asked his boss, an actual scientist who dealt with solar issues for decades about his view on global warming. The guy laughed and simply said it was stupid.
