The mother of a 12-year-old Beaver Falls girl is demanding answers after a doctor implanted birth control in her arm.
The clinic, Adagio Health Turtle Creek, said it does not need parental consent to perform the procedure, but the girls mother said she was brought there by another woman against her will.
Turtle Creek Police tell KDKAs Meghan Schiller that the mother did file a police report and that charges against the female suspect are pending and will likely be filed this week.
The family says the suspect is a family acquaintance, and they wanted to come forward to warn other parents.
The suspect hasnt been named until charges are filed.

Mother Says 12-Year-Old Daughter Was Taken To Clinic, Had Birth Control Implanted In Arm Against Her Will
pinging you for the Homeschool Ping
Makes me wonder if the girl was being groomed to become sexually active by the perp.
That’s my thought as well.
Sounds like the mother might be in a hurry to be a grandparent.
Malpractice and Kidnapping. One for 10 million as it can cause life long infertility, and the other for ten years or more.
No it doesnt
When my daughter was about 10, her pediatrician started talking about the HPV vaccine.
I said no.
The Pediatrician turned to my daughter and said “You don’t want to die from cancer do you?” and I went BALLISTIC.
Screamed at her, the office staff, and everyone in the waiting room.
Then I found a new Pediatrician.
Am not going to tolerate ignorant ideas.
so no parents teach kids to abstain? no kids are decent they all just mess around at 12 years old?
Ok, come on, the mother is right. The 12 year old girl is going with a family friend to a clinic? I know my parents would defriend the friend if someone took my sister’s to a clinic for birth control. Sue the family friend, the clinic, the medical staff... And charge the family ‘friend’ with kidnapping and the medical staff child abuse...
“The clinic, Adagio Health Turtle Creek, said it does not need parental consent to perform the procedure, but the girl’s mother said she was brought there by another woman against her will.”
Whoever spoke on behalf of Adagio Health Turtle Creek needs to have a boot swiftly “implanted” in his or her posterior willing or not.
So does the relative who essentially kidnapped this young girl.
You could be on to something.
Can you just stick it in an arm?
Relative maybe or maybe not........
per the article
“The family says the suspect is a family acquaintance,”
Sue the clinic for assault and battery plus punitive damages. Reliance upon an unrelated 3rd party’s consent is not valid and not a defense to the lawsuit.
Ditto
School staffer. And this child is not the first.
“Sounds like the mother might be in a hurry to be a grandparent.”

It sounds like she’s livid with the thought her daughter may be put in a position to have sex.
As the daughter was taken to the clinic against her will and the implant placed against her will, odds are very high she was being groomed for sex exploitation.
The mom sounds like my mom would have been: LIVID.
If someone had taken me to get that implant done, there’d have to be more than one cop on site by the time my mom would have finished with both the woman and clinic staff.
THEN she’d deal with the legal mess. She’d have made sure it could not be done anytime soon, by those evil folks.
I’d be looking into some charges of underage sexual exploitation by the doctor and clinic workers as they KNEW she was underage!
There is a form of birth control that is implanted in the upper arm.
Similar situation with us out here in SoCal.
Liberal pediatrician tried to give my daughters the HPV vaccine. Forewarned is forewarned, I knew the statistics. I asked the Dr what the complication rate was, she tried to dismiss the question, so I told her (over 10%). Then I asked her if it covered all types of warts. “Yes,” the Dr answered. Then I asked why other literature said Gardasil only inoculated against 7 viruses out of over 30 that are now carried by sexually active teens. All the doctor could say was, “that’s not true.” I left her the fact sheet and told her to know more facts than her patient next time.
Out in the parking lot, my teen daughter was impressed. She also learned an important lesson.
