Wherever the tornadoes touch down, I hope that it’s out in open spaces where there are no people to get hurt. And that those guys, who drive too fast and run red lights!!...will be safe too!

I always hope the same thing, too, but it isn’t the case most of the time. I have a sinking feeling there were people hurt on the interstate today and that was in the middle of nowhere. There was a LOT of traffic.
I hope things aren’t so bad here tomorrow that I won’t be able to pick up Moogly but if it looks like it could be dangerous to drive anywhere, she’ll have to stay another night. I love storms but do have limits. LOL

Good evening, radu...are you staying dry? Corn growing well?
The gauge says a good half inch of rain and a bee, added to an earlier half inch, and more coming later tomorrow.

Well, we don’t have corn, we have cactus, but it is still dry as a bone. LOL!
Was the bee still swimming? :)

That Jeff person...his name is almost impossible to remember...was supposed to get back on the air and didn’t so I’m hoping he and his wife didn’t run too close to one. There is always a ton of traffic on I-40. Remember a few years back some TV storm chasers were killed on I-40 very close to where my MIL lived in Yukon, OK.

Not sure if you can view
THIS, but you can see the funnels very clearly. You just have to get past the over-enthusiasm of the streamer. LOL! Hit the little x at the bottom to make it full screen.

The day went pretty smoothly until the end. We always do a “test post” for the payroll. That usually works, so the actual payroll can be posted and we are done. The “test post” worked, the real post did not. I finally left as there were only a couple things they could still try, but nothing I could help with...
It is highly likely that calls were made and a solution won’t be found til morning. It’s unsettling that it won’t post.

Well, bummer. Sorry!
When I click, it goes to the page. Maybe you have to be a “member” to view. I haven’t a clue. I am a member of Periscope, because I moderate for one of the broadcasters, but this guy posts some great stuff about storms of all kinds.

There have been several of them killed over the years but I don’t know where they were at the time. It’s a dangerous activity but I can understand the attraction. I’d love to do it! LOL
I hope Jeff is ok too. It’s unnerving when they “disappear” like that. One of the guys last night lost signal and he was in the thick of things at the time. It was a relief when he came back on a short time later.

He sure does get excited. LOL! I can’t blame him. I would be too.
I’ll watch the whole thing in a minute. I’ve watched the first couple of minutes so far. Cool stuff, especially the “tube” overhead. We had one pass over the house a few years ago and I was in the back yard at the time. It “growled” as it passed over and that freaked me out a bit. It touched down about a mile past the farm. We were lucky that time.

Darn the luck. Just can’t get a day to go smoothly all the way through.
I hope they’re able to fix the problem early in the morning so those folks can get their checks.

It’s been dry the past few days but we have at least 4 wet days ahead, with storms coming through tomorrow. The corn’s definitely enjoying the rain we’re getting and is growing by leaps and bounds.
You’ve gotten some decent rain and I hope the gravel dust is finally settled.
Poor bee. Did you dump the gauge and free the bee or was it too late for that?
I find bugs in our gauge periodically too.

Were you lucky enough to get through the other night without bad storms roaring through?
