Correct, I confused the two.
Our young people know only about the evils of the long-ago Inquisition, and, more recently, the Nazis; they seem oblivious to the recent atrocities of communists against Christians and other religious groups (e.g., Taoists and Buddhists in China). Since they do not know their own recent history, and are therefore unable to learn from it, they are likely to repeat it.
Few young people I know practice any organized religion and are actually hostile to Christianity. So my guess is they don’t have an issue with anti Christian bigotry or violence.

Simply not teaching a great deal of history made it a lot easier to twist and torture what they did teach into the acceptable propaganda that was taught.

Really? I’m sitting here in a Christian community with hundreds of churches and we haven’t seen a speck of violence.
