I don’t know what Price’s intent was when he retweeted that comment by the writer Buckley, but tonight he said that it deserved more attention than just his 38k followers. He thought the tweet was racist and divisive. I thought the same thing. Buckley is a big lib.
We may eventually find out if Price’s explanation is legit. However, I think it’s extremely cowardly for Cora to put his players in this situation. He should be a man and lead his team to the whitehouse.

Price isn’t the only one on the team to choose not to visit. He’s one of many. From their names, all seem to be minorities, perhaps all black.
Screw ‘em. If I were Trump I would disinvite the entire team. Maybe those who miss out on such an honor would let their teammates know how they screwed the pooch.
As an aside, if I’m not mistaken, Boston was the last major league team to have a black player on the roster. Not that it’s relevant to the issue, just an interesting side note.
I have had about as much as I can stand of “Major League” sports.
Maybe there will be a “people of color” day at Fenway Park to soothe the players. All those in attendance are admitted for free because of America’s nasty history and the evil person who is currently president.
