Someone once said “You get the government you vote for”. But then someone else said “Unfortunately I also get the government you vote for”. Hence, the problem with Democracy. It’s two wolves and a lamb voting on what’s for dinner. No system is perfect, but we have a Constitution to supposedly ensure our fundamental rights, whatever happens. I suspect that idea will be tested soon enough.
