We are still in the Quaternary - a geologic time period characterized by cyclic transcontinental glaciations. The last 20 some thousand years have been a warming lull with “bumps” like “The Little Ice Age (roughly 1350 - 1850)”. When should we invest in that nice warm coat, dunno! However it does look like we are entering a cooler period. Another Little Ice Age would be bad, more then that and we will need to hope Algore & his warmies are right about the power of CO2! either way no one knows when! Plus or minus 100 or 200 years!

I read something a couple of years ago stating that just before the projected frying of the globe, the ozone layer has unexpectedly repaired itself.
