I just heard yesterday that the Iconoclasts of the Left have gotten approval from Annapolis to remove the statue of General Lee from the Antietam battlefield. No doubt Gettysburg will be their next target.

They lose their sh*t over statues of great Generals like Lee, yet they have no problem with a giant statue of Hillarys mentor Robert “Sheets” Byrd in the nations Capital which surprise, they have a black man clean. KKK recruiter and Civil rights opponent Sen. Robert Byrd who was still serving in the Senate as late as 2010.

That’s something I never really appreciated until I moved to New England. My ancestors fought for the North, but I was born and raised in the Southwest, so the ongoing North/South animosity is something I missed out on almost entirely and generally believed couldn’t really still be a thing as much as people said. Unfortunately, many people in this area really do dislike Southerners (without having ever met any, of course). If they looked into their own ancestors’ pasts, they’d see some stains too, and their politics obviously sucks so they shouldn’t be grumbling about Southern politics, but they are too busy thinking themselves superior to do any of that.
