Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein submitted his resignation letter to President Trump on Monday, ending a tumultuous two years in which he tried to steady a rocky Justice Department and its relationship with the White House.
His resignation is effective May 11.

Now he can go home and eat as many Chunkys as he wants. (I wonder if DJT gave him a few of them on the plane ride a couple of months ago.)
Stepping up from being at Department of Injustice.
Even the WSJ is taking (left leaning) orders from the Murdoch boys! Hardly a financial rag anymore!
Make Arnold Stang Great Again!
Didn't he sign off on all 4 FISA warrants?
Oh I know 100% of which I speak. See Magacoaliton.com for the proofs on the utter fraud against Trump supporters.
The “decoders” like preying insect among others are already going after VP Pence. They will go after President Trump next. They have no more wrong left to go.
We can't move on until the parties who weaponized agencies are prosecuted and held responsible.
Here’s a tweet from the “Never Trumper”.

The biggest thing Trump demonstrated to me since he won the 2016 election & has spent almost 2 full years in office is this:
How much of what I considered the Conservative Movement I’d been a part of since the mid-1980’s was really a con game being run by grifters like Kristol.

Gonna get that $2M book jam...
Do we need to talk about Creepy 400 pound bukake paper boy?
Seriously? As if the guy who pushed Sessions leading this grand mass arrest plan isn’t enough.
For heaven’s sakes, Jeff Sessions is gone. It was not a ruse to make it appear he was a mistake. It’s proven true.
Not what any of these pro-Sessions and dumb ass “Slow walkers” said.
I say that as someone who held the highest regard for Sessions. But facts are facts.
—> Pull all his clearances. Give him a back office with no clearance till then.

He is reported to have sought a plea deal for himself. Thankfully, PDJT was against such a thing both in principle and because he already knew everything Rod could have ratted out.
“he wants to live a normal life.”
So do Flynn, Stone, Manafort, and the several others — many innocent people — who lost everything paying lawyers to defend them. How about them? He was a weasel, beginning to end. He volunteered to wear a wire to record PDJT, for Pete’s sake. Nope. He needs to suffer. (But he won’t.)
What makes you think Trump didn’t give him a deal in return for his hanging in and endorsing Barr’s early work here?
I actually expect him to skate because of a deal.
Excusing acts of war in exchange for convenience would be very disrespectful to those who've sacrificed (dearly) toward the war effort.
RR couldn't give up anything valuable toward a deal, as MI and PDJT already had it all.
One might think a full debrief being mentioned in the context of being allowed to resign is a quid pro quo, but the consequences of that would have nothing to do with any hoped-for change to any potential indictments. The latter would indeed be "where the action is."
We can all just keep watching to see whether your theory is correct. No one can predict the future, but Brennan, recipient of the best intel in the world, has been particularly bad at that, particularly of late. That will happen to people who are stupid, cheer on traitors, and think they don't need to reckon with G-d.
But they are in a tricky spot now if they outwardly discredit Mueller and Rosenstein, given that they are supposed to be the credibility behind Trump’s mostly exoneration.
I fear the rumors were right and the Bushes and Trumps made a deal coming out of Poppy’s funeral, with Barr, a Bush fixer from way back, in there to enforce the deal on both sides.
Mueller, his investigative minions, and Rosenstein have now already given their responses to the evidence known thus far--evidence that won't be changing. The credibility of the "exoneration" will similarly will have no plausible reason to change. Even Schiff is backing off.
When the DOJ IG and Huber investigation results become known, it won't reasonably trace to new critique of PDJT. The attacks against Barr's character, as if he would cashier his credibility to paint glowing pictures of PDJT, have rightly fallen on mostly deaf ears. For the left to construct similar stories against Horowitz and Huber in light of upcoming revelations will only hurt those making up such stories. (It would hurt them badly, but they may also mindlessly believe there's no other hand for them to play, short of admissions of guilt, character assassination, false witness and plain stupidity.)
What's coming will, I believe, win support for coming sentences befitting capital crimes. Many people's spines will stiffen against the nonsensical defensive posturing we're soon going to hear. The potential for riots will be quelled.
