Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein submitted his resignation letter to President Trump on Monday, ending a tumultuous two years in which he tried to steady a rocky Justice Department and its relationship with the White House.
His resignation is effective May 11.

I think it applies to the DOJ Inspector General, not Congress. In order for the IG to interrogate you, you have to be an employee.

I would agree with that. It was terribly misguided, but I’d categorize it as an out of place thing to do, whereas the Democrat were actively trying to remove him from office by force.

He neglected to append “and appoint corrupt Special Prosecutors to carry out our dirty work” at the end of the last sentence in his resignation letter.
That one corrupt (IMHO) action put the lie to ALL of his other actions. His appointment of this fraudulent Special Prosecutor and giving that treasonous team absolute free rein should be the ONLY thing for which he is remembered.
May 11.
Reaffirmed the Rule of Law he violated by not recusing himself for his multiple conflicts of interest, and violated by appointing a man who was likewise multiply conflicted?

There is no letting go. This is the culmination of decades of work by the left to destroy the country. It’s no different than World War II. The crimes need to be fully investigated and consequences brought down upon the perpetrators.

Gotta agree with lurker here though I know you essentially sick of all of this, like most of us are, and want to get back to getting back to making America great again.
But this wasn’t just charges and allegations that turned out to not be true and book closed.
This was an orchestrated attempt to overthrow the Presidency of the United States.
As much as I WISH this garbage would go away, we CAN’T.
It will be assumed that one can get away with trying and failing if there are no consequences this time.
