Mueller, his investigative minions, and Rosenstein have now already given their responses to the evidence known thus far--evidence that won't be changing. The credibility of the "exoneration" will similarly will have no plausible reason to change. Even Schiff is backing off.
When the DOJ IG and Huber investigation results become known, it won't reasonably trace to new critique of PDJT. The attacks against Barr's character, as if he would cashier his credibility to paint glowing pictures of PDJT, have rightly fallen on mostly deaf ears. For the left to construct similar stories against Horowitz and Huber in light of upcoming revelations will only hurt those making up such stories. (It would hurt them badly, but they may also mindlessly believe there's no other hand for them to play, short of admissions of guilt, character assassination, false witness and plain stupidity.)
What's coming will, I believe, win support for coming sentences befitting capital crimes. Many people's spines will stiffen against the nonsensical defensive posturing we're soon going to hear. The potential for riots will be quelled.
I wish I had your confidence. I think they’ll go after some midlevel guys, but I’m not holding my breath on their taking down the big players.
