Surgeon who operated on Biden: He's better now than before brain surgery

Joe Biden almost died after suffering an aneurysm while serving in the Senate, but the surgeon who operated on his brain says that the incident shouldn't hold him back in his pursuit of the presidency.

Dr. Neal Kassell, the renowned neurosurgeon who operated on Biden, said he’s confident that Biden is “totally in the clear,” and joked that he believed the surgery had even “made him better than how he was.”

“Joe Biden of all of the politicians in Washington is the only one that I’m certain has a brain, because I have seen it,” Kassell said. “That’s more than I can say about all the other candidates or the incumbents.”

Not to kid about this, but beginning his Presidential campaign with a blatant lie about Trump and Charlottesville may prove that Biden has permanent brain damage.

Or maybe he's just a liar. He lied about his grades repeatedly, he plagiarized repeatedly, and even lied about the guy whose car hit his family's car.

It’s wonderful that Joe Biden has a healthy brain, at least according to his doctor, who took time out of his busy brain-surgery practice to take a whirl at political promotion.

But the brain is one thing, judgment another. Why would a 76-year-old presidential candidate go out of his way to emphasize to the world that besides being an old white male — a category out of favor with most Democrats — he’s also had a history of serious illness? THIS is what Joe Biden believes will improve his political fortunes?

That’s on top of other strange utterances. How many foolish statements does a 76-year-old have to make before he’s diagnosed with at least the onset of senile dementia? As the darling of the liberal media, Joe Biden may be able to go on forever.
