President Donald Trump’s effort to stack the Federal Reserve with ideological allies has run into a familiar foe: Republican Sen. Mitt Romney, who’s likely to continue to act as a bulwark against the central bank becoming a target for political appointees.
Herman Cain’s decision Monday to withdraw his name from consideration as a Fed governor was largely academic. Romney and three other GOP senators already were poised to torpedo the former Kansas City Fed president and pizza CEO’s nomination if it was brought to a vote.

His magic underwear got him his position. The Book of Mormon voted him in.
It was a roaring success, and just what the Swamp wanted. The strategy was for Ryno/McCuckold (after having given Omoeba everything he wanted on policy and funding) to resist President Trump with all their strength, and only agree on policy items benefiting the globalist/donor/opp en borders/cheap labor crowd, before throwing the House elections, and (if possible) the Senate.
Remember that a year before the election, pundits were predicting a net gain of 6-8 seats for the GOP. The GOPe didn't want that, cause the OrangeManBad might advance his agenda.
All elements of the Deep State are in resistance to everything President Trump wants, or is trying to do, except judges: and they can slow him down, but he is simultaneously overthrowing them and slowly implementing his agenda anyway.
What is Romney’s money stream?
What are his global linkages?
What family of his is on the take?
Etc.
So who are the other three?
Larry, Moe and Curly. It doesn’t really matter. Senators swap votes all the time. They all hate Trump and are jealous of his success. The failure to advance the nominations of President Trump rests with the party.
Murkowski. Gardner of Colorado. Kramer of North Dakota. There would have been more had Trump nominate him.
