Conservation groups press judge to block drilling, mining in 7 states over sage grouse

BOISE, Idaho — Four conservation groups have asked a judge to block a Trump administration plan allowing drilling, mining and other activities in seven Western states they say will harm sage grouse.
Western Watersheds Project and other groups asked for the injunction in U.S. District Court in Idaho late last week for Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, Nevada, California and Oregon.

I worked on a pulling unit in wyoming
In October the locations we were on were the ones took that would be closed because
The sage grouse would be procreated near there
We always had to police the locations, picking up trash
Never saw a bird.

You can hunt them too. Although I was surprised - most grouse have a month-long season in Wyoming. Sage grouse is only open for three days.
