The HIll ^ | April 18, 2019 | Alexander Bolton

Republicans in Washington are dead set against Judge Roy Moore being the party’s Senate nominee in Alabama next year and say they will do whatever is possible to prevent that from happening.

Moore is expected to announce a decision soon on whether to challenge Sen. Doug Jones (D-Ala.), a top Republican target, and a new poll shows him leading a field of possible GOP Senate candidates.

1. I have never seen half of you people on FR until Moore pops up.

2. Most of you anti Moore types sign up date is 1999.

Does this even make sense? LOL.

All the anti Moore sumbitches on FR fail to remember that.He stood up against the left and was removed for it yet was reelected in spite of the removal. The elite have a hard on for Moore and it really shows. All the more reason I stand with Moore.

Go back and read the Gospels. In particular, pay close attention to the role of the apostle St. John in Christ's ministry. John was Christ's favorite disciple. He was the one who was given (by Jesus Himself, on the cross) the responsibility for caring for the mother of God. His love for Jesus Christ was so deep that he was the only apostle who did not die a martyr's death.

Then look at St. Peter -- perhaps the most flawed apostle of them all. Ill-tempered, impatient, and full of doubt he was. He would even deny Christ three times on the even of the crucifixion.

And yet which of them did Jesus Christ declare to be "the Rock upon which I will build my Church?"

There is a lesson to be learned here.

In many ways, a man is better known by the enemy that stand against him than the friends that stand behind him.

Moore has all the proper enemies, including what’s left of the GOPe.

“God forbid we should have a conservative who will fight for his (and our) beliefs. Maybe we need more of him, not less.”

This reminds me of your “Black Brother” down in Florida, Alcee Hastings, who was removed from a Federal Judgeship for corruption and is now a long-term Congressman from that state. Our laws are not subject to “being ignored” by religious nuts like Moore. While I believe in the Ten Commandments and am not a fan of Gay Marriage, we are not free to interpret the laws that govern because they are at crossed purposed to our individual beliefs. That’s how Democrats operate. Moore decided that he didn’t need to observe our laws as written, and he got the boot, and he did it again. There is no reason to believe that he would not be a “problem child” in the Senate if he were to be elected. So while you Alabamians are surely within your rights to try and elect him, my guess is that he will make Doug Jones a permanent fixture in Alabama for the next six years if he decides to run again. How about electing a good Conservative like Mo Brooks?

He's a solid conservative vote every single time.

There are no doubt other Alabama conservatives who would be a solid conservative vote every single time without the baggage of loser Roy Moore.

Leave aside all the fabricated "scandals" about Moore.

If they are all fabricated then why didn't Moore ever sue like he said he was going to do?

Don’t you think it’s a little strange that he’s 72 and his wife is only 57? That’s a 15 year difference in age!

actually, there are primaries in Alabama. I vote in them all the time. They are open, however. This permits strategic crossover voting

“Don’t you think it’s a little strange that Trump is 72 and his wife is only 48? That’s a 24 year difference in age!”

No, she’s his third wife, not his first!

And when you look at his first wife Ivana, she’s only two years his junior, but she had already been married once before marrying Trump, and has had two more husbands since she and Trump divorced!

Take a look:

Spouse: Rossano Rubicondi (m. 2008-2009), Riccardo Mazzucchelli (m. 1995-1997), Donald Trump (m. 1977-1992), Alfred Winklmayr (m. 1971-1973)

I wouldn't hold that against him. Suing someone for slander is a very costly endeavor, and for a public official the likelihood of success is very low.

Even if he won, he probably wouldn't get a dime out of any of the accusers.

“This reminds me of your “Black Brother” down in Florida, Alcee Hastings,”

Alcee Hastings is not my brother and he’s a criminal, not someone who had wrongthought, to create a word on the 1984 theme.

“religious nuts like Moore.”

He is religious, but he’s not a nut. Are all religious people nuts to you?

“we are not free to interpret the laws that govern because they are at crossed purposed to our individual beliefs.”

So when they come for “religious nuts” they should just go? When they come for our guns we should surrender? The federal courts telling a state they can’t display the Ten Commandments and that they must recognize gay marriage is, to me, the perfect example of tyranny.

He’s not a reliable conservative vote - he’s a showboat that engages in vanity politics, even in the role of a judge. Oddly he manages to do that and be lazy at the same time - taking the weekend off before the election to attend a ball game?

He orchestrated a lot of smears against himself through his many years of vanity politics getting himself thrown off the AL Supreme Court twice, and by being a lazy campaigner - taking the weekend off before the election. That’s not someone serious about winning.

The bipartisan effort to crush Moore was also done to hand Bonnon a loss. Otherwise Steve would have kept trying to primary RINO’s until half the Senate was no longer so corrupt.

Nobody came to take anything from Moore! They took him out of his job because he had decided that he could make decisions that were COUNTER to existing law. Kinda like him deciding that THE SECOND AMENDMENT had to be overruled.
See, it isn't o.k. with me for someone's idea of what God's Law is, to supersede our country's laws, even though I may violently disagree with what they say. So in truth, Moore isn't any better than some RAT who thinks that the Bill of Rights is just a bunch of suggestions that can be ignored by anyone who cares to. So don't keep laying this bull$hit on us that Moore isn't just like any other person who thinks you should do with he thinks is right! He's not righteous, he's just a self-serving a$$hole. Because he hides behind The Holy Bible doesn't make him any better than Alcee Hastings, or Rod Rosenstein, or any of the others in our government who have tried for more than two years to subvert our government to overturn our decision to make Donald J. Trump our President. But you can go ahead and try and elect Moore, and at the same time, reinforce in the minds of a lot of people in this country that Alabama is still "the home of the double wide," and the "land of the outdoor toilet!" We should get better from you than Moore, Jeff Sessions, Doug Jones and Luther Strange.
