>>Some may ask why millions of Earths citizens experienced a shared deep and emotional interest in the burning of a Christian house of worship. Atheists. Jews. Muslims. Hindus. Buddhists. Animists. Conservatives. Liberals. Even those who seemingly go out of their way to use the slightest opportunity to mock or ridicule Christians and their faith.<<

France refusing to deal with these animals means the Eiffel Tower is next.
"Ashes to ashes" would be reinforced. Collections would rise and perhaps, some money left to counter the Muslim threat to Catholicism and Christianity in one way or another. The last statement is based in part on several hundred Catholic churches, in France, having been vandalized in the past few years. Over 40 in the last month with 12 in one week.
France quickly ruled out Terrorism, calling the conflagration an accident before ANY investigation. Guess when 10% of your population are Muslims who riot sporadically, you are more afraid of a revolution (Yellow Vest or otherwise) than the TRUTH.

Hopefully the truth will come out at some point. It’s hard to believe that a fire started in the roof. These terrorists aren’t stupid. Osama was an engineer and knew how to take down the Trade Towers. Why wouldn’t they know that a fire could really get going in the roof timbers? If the authorities know that it was terrorism, they wouldn’t want to let on during Holy Week. People would be enraged. The only thing that would make me think that it was accidental is that no one is taking responsibility.
America has lost its way due to the atheists, marxists, muslim and turd world immigration to the point that hit’s cutural base and heritage has been diluted and forgotten. Deemed irrelevant.
President Trump has not forgotten... however you can see it in both congress, senate and the courts. Special mention.... the party of the marxists and muslims, the dems.
Islam seeks erasure as it conquers. This act, Notre Dame, was just one step of many to come.
Europe is sliding down that slope.
E.T. does not burn much but the Sacre Coeur cathedral will.
God Forbid.
Wake up, France or y’all be escargot.
Notre Dame was a symbol of Western culture. It's still a symbol of who we are, and it's as much part of the culture that produced America as it is part of French culture. It's our loss, too.
I hope there will be a chance for people to contribute to a restoration fund.

Steyn nails it...hits it outta the park with this on Tucker yesterday:
**Tucker Carlsons favorite recurring guest, Mark Steyn, reacted to the Notre Dame Cathedral fire on Monday night by calling the French godless while warning of a rising tide of Islam in France.
It is currently not clear what started the fire that engulfed the iconic Parisian landmark police suspect an accident related to construction but fortunately, it seems Notre Dame will survive as a whole, albeit heavily damaged. When Steyn was asked for his reaction on Carlsons show, he remarked that Christendom is in retreat in Europe, and said polls about the Frenchs belief in secularism indicates they are among the most Godless people in that sense.
Steyn went on to describe a trip he once took to France, remarking that he visited a Catholic church outside of Paris in Saint Denis that he described as a Christian museum in the heart of what is now a Muslim suburb in effect.
There is no sense of Christianity outside of the walls of that cathedral, Steyn said. And it was after that that I went to then Notre Dame because you do have the sense that a living, breathing faith is just becoming actually a museum.
Steyn also said the people of France cannot explain why they mourn for Notre Dame beyond the historical, architectural and artistic elements that were lost in the blaze.
They are mourning something else, but what that something else post-Christian France cant quite identify it, Steyn opined.
To be fair to Carlson, the Fox host did not want to speculate on how the fires happened. His caution came after several of his colleagues pulled the plug on guests veered into conspiratorial speculations on who or what was responsible for the inferno.**
Notre Dame was built for the glory of God and post-Christian France has embraced secularism to such a degree, that Steyn wonders why are they rebuilding it?
To remake a museum, an art gallery.
The ashes used on Ash Wednesday are from the prior year's Palm Sunday.
The local Austin, TX lib news stuck the fire under their entertainment section.
It may not be as iconic as Notre Dame, but I think it may be even more beautiful.
I agree! Steyn hit it out of the park!
We humans have, since the beginning of Time, been, basically, waging war: the colossal battle of GOOD vs EVIL pretty much consumes our waking thoughts and activities.
Some of us seek to do good; others seek to do evil. Some are swayed by circumstances and make good vs evil determinations on the spur of the moment - so-called “circumstantial ethics.”
Without swerving into a lengthy metaphysical argument, let me say that the manner in which Notre Dame is rebuilt and the purposes it is put after the rebuild will certainly be an indicator of where on the good - evil spectrum modern day FRance (Western Civilization?) stands.
Of course, a TRUTHFUL determination of the proximate cause of the fire will also be an indicator!
Doesn’t change my opinion. Mix the two types of if it makes you happy. Perhaps in stead of ashes to ashes, it will remind us what bureaucracies covering up church misdeeds also probably (statistically) conceal Muslim activities such as church burnings in France if not actually Notre Dame.
