Hillary Clinton remembers Nixon investigation: 'We deserve to see the Mueller report'

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton joined other Democrats in their demands for the full Mueller report to be released to Congress and the public.

“We deserve to see the Mueller report, and if there is material that, for whatever reason, should not be shared publicly, it should be shared with the Congress,” Clinton told CNN’s Fareed Zakaria in an interview Friday at the Women in the World 10th Anniversary Summit in New York City.

“One of the things that I did as a very young lawyer was work on the impeachment staff of the House Judiciary Committee in 1974, investigating Richard Nixon,” said Clinton, referring to the Watergate scandal for which President Nixon was named an “unindicted co-conspirator” and later impeached. “I know what can be made available, what the court has to be asked to permit to be made available. I know what the Republicans did when they were in charge of the Congress in demanding information from the Justice Department that had never been offered before — very sensitive information. It was all turned over to the Republican Congress.”

“We’re in this bit of a twilight zone, aren’t we?” she continued. “There’s a report that, depending upon which figure you believe, is somewhere between maybe three, four hundred pages long, and it is not being delivered to the Congress, which has an absolute right to see it. It is not being presented to the public.”

The report is expected to be released in the coming days, according to Attorney General William Barr, who testified last week at a hearing on Capitol Hill before House and Senate subcommittees. His summary of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of the 2016 campaign said there was no collusion between President Trump's campaign and Russia. It also stated the Mueller’s findings...

My first thought also. What she proposed was totally unconstitutional.

"One of the mistakes of Trump’s first few months in office was to be magnanimous in victory and not follow through on investigating and prosecuting Clinton corruption."

I daresay that most of us here on FR probably also feel this way, but there may be more than magnanimity at work. He may have begun to realize that it could have damaged him, politically, especially that early in his term when there were so many yet-to-be-uncovered Deep State operatives, Never-Trumpers and holdovers from Obama's administration.

With 'Chicken Jeff' hiding under the covers, and the comedy team of Comey & Rosenstein running the DOJ, among others, I think they would have worked harder at removing DJT than honestly investigating the Clinton crime family.

Oh, my - what I learned from the Watergate investigations was that spying on the political opposition was very naughty and that the people responsible ought to be punished with prison time. That’s what Hillary meant, right?

‘We deserve to see the Mueller report’

The only thing this wretched bitch deserves is a one-way ox cart trip to Tyburn Square.

Despite what the article says Richard Nixon was not impeached.
Nixon resigned before the full House voted on the articles of impeachment issued by the House Judiciary Committee chaired by Peter Rodino.

I’m sure the Media will release that information. It would be unfair if they didn’t. Am I right?

Just shows what a dumb klutz Hillary is. One thing she should have stayed away from, was reminding people of her “service” on the Watergate committee. Inevitably, people will bring up the extremely negative remarks, by the Chairman of that committee, regarding her performance there.

She has been a conniving female the whole of her life, from her entrance to college, through law school, on the Watergate investigation, to a phoney marriage, to a phoney law career, to a criminal use of the futures market, to a grasping for whitewater money no matter how, to a phoney marriage with child, to the phoney donation of underclothes in her income tax,to her miserable failure with the first socialist health care proposal, to the sale of White House perks, to the illegal use of FBI documents, to the creation of a phoney Clinton charity, to the constant misuse of her office of Secretary of State, the Libya and Benghazi scandals, the pro-Muslim Brotherhood activity in Egypt that tagged her term in office, etc., etc., etc. l

In her reign as queen, I believe she is responsible for recruiting the current crop of sociopaths, and psychopaths that dominate the Democratic Party leadership.

Her deeds will live long past her parting this earth on the fast path to hell.

I spoke with the attorney supervisor Jerome Zeifmann several years ago, who called her behavior unethical. Only two people did not get positive job referrals from him - Hillary and Bernie Nussbaum.

In fairness to the witch, I do not think she had been fired. I think here role was over and many were dismissed at the time.
