Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) applauded the boycott of The New York Post being organized by corner stores in the city following the tabloids front page cover calling out Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) for her comments about 9/11.
Omar has faced criticism this week for comments she made at a speech in March, notably from colleague Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) and President Donald Trump.
CAIR was founded after 9/11, because they recognized that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties, she said, in comments that her critics said minimized the terror attacks.
The Post was scathing in its criticism of the congresswoman, slapping a photo of the attacks on its front page this week along with the headline: Heres your something 2,977 people dead by terrorism.
In response to the controversial cover, the Yemeni American Merchants Association (YAMA) announced a boycott of the Post, for what defenders of Omar decried as encouraging anti-Muslim sentiment.

Mail them to AOC.
Both muslim and latin bodeg’s’ are fencing operations for food stamps, welfare checks, drugs and other program assisted money for the entitlement mass.
Where’s a list of Yemeni owned bodegas, SO WE CAN BOYCOTT THEM FOR ETERNITY.
Is this a case old government control of the press? Or dos that apply only when Trump does it?
And New York CHOSE her.
What a sh!thole; much of northeastern NJ is ending up like these foreigner dumps (though towns here are much less likely to allow places to stay open 24 hours).
Bodegas are the Third World response to “food deserts”; imagine a Wal-Mart compressed into a single small storefront. They are designed primarily for pedestrian foreigners on public assistance, often featuring large signs touting that they accept EBT.
Newark NJ has them; here in NJ they’ve been busting some for EBT/WIC fraud (millions of dollars in each case).
We recently moved to Florida from NY and the Publix supermarket sells the NY Post....
No list needed. Just get the word out:
If you dont see the Posr for sale, dont buy anything else there.
I work in NY.
I havent bought a newspaper in at least 15 years.
Im buying $20 worth tomorrow. Dont know what they cost. And Im following up by buying one a day from now on.
The stupidity of these people is mind-blowing. I just cannot fathom how they think like this.
“You guys become a joke when you blow stuff up when you live 2000 miles away in some hick village.”
Easy there dude. My particular “hick village” doesn’t elect a large majority of Lib/prob imbeciles to run it, has a 10th of your crime rate, voted for Trump 65/35, taxes only property and reasonably so, provides water, sewer and trash P/U at a 3rd your cost, schools still teach the basics and recite the pledge, and wouldn’t think of boycotting anything with the exception of an abortion clinic.
So if we’re a joke, you just keep laughing as you continue to edge your way into the abyss.
You are talking about Trump country there, dp.
And you're talking outta your ass.
It would be terrible thing if those shops were to be burned out.
Why are these two (AOC and Ilhan Omar) always going around with smirks on their faces? Omar denigrates the Jews and minimizes 9/11 (smirk, smirk) and AOC supports her.
And not a peep out of the NY mayor or the NY congressional delegation (led by NY Jew and supposed supporter of Israel Schumer).
Whats going on?
——(YAMA) -——
??? Such an organization does not need to exist.
Yemmini’s are very bad news and terrible for America
Diversity kills
New Yorkers should boycott the Muslim run bodegas that are boycotting the Post.
The list is not necessary.
There is a simple test upon walking in -- no NY Post, NO SALE.
It is just that easy.
Boy cott?
Better, have a woman in an ICE jacket take a position outside the door
So what exactly does Cortez think of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in which almost 3,000 Americans were killed? We know her political answer but would she condemn the attack or not...
