I saw a bumpersticker one time:

TEXAS
We birth the country's tornadoes
You're Welcome America!

Just read on fb that a tornado was on the ground headed toward MSU. No other word except telling everyone to get to safety.

Someone else posted that 121 mph winds headed toward campus. I did not recognize the roads mentioned. Hope everyone is safe. My old stomping grounds.

We got shooter marble-sized hail 30 miles southwest of Houston. Was sunny and beautiful and suddenly it got cold and all heck broke loose. I was in my metal barn at the time. The din was tremendous. Thought for certain a tornado was about to hit.

My wife’s mother was from Tyler Texas.

Tyler’s a nice place. I thank God all my kin are present and accounted for but I just saw where 2 children were killed when their car had a tree fall on it. Parents in the front, car was in motion. Pray for this family. Babies were 3 and 8......

That’s a shame. The parents must be beside themselves. I know I would be in their situation.
