SAN DIEGO (AP) — The Latest on a court ruling that would have prevented the Trump administration from returning asylum seekers to Mexico to await court hearings (all times local):
4:45 p.m.
A federal appeals court has temporarily blocked a judge’s order that would have stopped the Trump administration from returning asylum seekers to Mexico.
The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals issued a temporary stay Friday.

We had some homeless people in our small town recently squatting an abandoned house. They were pushed out eventually and set up a little tent in and adjacent lot. The residents nearby were dealing with all sorts of disturbances as a result.
Of course this controversy was discussed on social media and one of the know liberal mouths was all for the squatting/tent city until it was hypothetically offered to bring them to their house to set up tents in their yard.
That is the key: get them frustrated and disillusioned about ever coming to stay in the US except if it is legally adjudicated. Living in the rough on the south side of the border will send many of them off to less harsh environments, preferably back where they came from.
I’m thinking it’s time to Cloward-Piven right back at them.
