Top 10 best cities to be Homeless in America.
Most people don't realize how many Americans are living on the streets or in shelters. It is a very sad situation. A good portion of this country is one paycheck away from being on the streets. The 2008 collapse showed us how bad it can be. I would never wish that on anyone but if it does god forbid ever happen to you, these are the cities you might want to make your way to and get some help.
If you are living in your car get some cheap car insurance and if you are in a desert town, make sure you have some sunscreen/sunblock.

Boy. I could see San Diego sailors getting BAH and living in tents, pocketing it to buy a house outside California. Haha
Living outside in Phoenix can be brutal during the summer months. Many nights the temperature does not go below 100 degrees.
Honolulu is loaded with them.
Yeah - like come to Free-Attle.
They are, directly or indirectly, largely responsible for homelessness in the US.
Best place to be homeless is where the rent is cheap.
New York,New York, it’s a toddlin’ town.
Hold your palm out in front of you on any street and someone will place a $100 bill in it. Back to my Section 8 free voucher housing to watch TV all day. Ah,the homeless life.
The homeless are just shrinking their carbon footprint. More greenies should join them instead of flying around in jets and driving cars with socialist stickers on them.

The liberals at Yahoo say “Obama saved the economy”.
No, you can not correct the terminally-stupid.
[I would never wish that upon anyone]
Oh, I could think of a few, LOL.
LA and SF have been ruined by their extreme-far-left politicians, super-high taxes (and thus, astronomical costs of living) and hundreds of thousands of bums begging in the streets, on trains and buses, everywhere ... plus of course all their famous human excrement now all over the sidewalks

The bluest sky you’ve ever seen in Seattle.

Remember this America? I sure do.
You’re certainly correct. Out in the desert you get a lot more night time temp drop, but all the buildings and pavement in town are a heat sink.
I’d think moderate temps both high and low should be a primary decision parameter for those choosing to be homeless.
I am shocked that Portland Oregon is missing.

True.
What I cannot understand is a statistic I saw that only a small minority of the homeless are mentally ill. I do not believe that.
The ones I have seen or heard while taking the bus through the decades nearly all seem mentally ill. I doubt they could really hold a respectable job for more than two days.
Who could become convinced they are right to erect tents with high output blower heat fans in them, under a highway overpass in MI in the winter, with maybe 5 degrees as the high for the day? There are places near here where they do that all winter. They come up the hills to beg for money with cardboard signs and go back down to sleep at night.
The police have periodic raids after months of lawsuits, court orders, counter court orders, restraining orders and then the poor people taken up to a proper shelter. Liberal groups fight to allow them the freedom to live under the overpasses in “tent cities.” They need help
Some government!
Ever seen “God Knows Where I Am”? It’s chilling.
I watched that a week or 2 ago. Anyone thinking of moving to Seattle should watch it. I haven’t been there in about 5 yrs and it’s definitely gone downhill since.
Thanks for the post. Thanks for the link. Typical city council.
