A controversial PAC that helped propel AOC to Congress, is under fire from other progressives. David Hildebrand planned a grassroots campaign against incumbent Sen. Dianne Feinstein, and sought them out. But he said they muscled him out of the race, choosing a female candidate to run in last June’s primary against Feinstein.
“I had support in my community and was nominated by many people. When Hildebrand asked Justice Democrats why they were backing a former school teacher and campaign finance reform activist, they said they needed a woman up against Feinstein. “Their process is allegedly one where candidates are nominated to their organization. I had numerous nominations, she wasn’t even in the race.” Other candidates who were backed by the group claim "Justice Democrats" raised money in their name, and then used the cash to back other progressives, including AOC, who was a board member until recently.
“There was no transparency,” said a campaign worker. “People gave up their damn lives to run and then were stuck with huge bills. Once Justice Democrats got people recruited, they were asked to sign memos specifying what percentage of funds raised would go to Justice Democrats.”
Justice Democrats PAC and Brand New Congress are currently the subject of an FEC complaint, which accuses Ocasio-Cortez and Saikat Chakrabarti, her former campaign manager, now her chief of staff, of funneling nearly $1M in contributions from the PACs into private companies Chakrabarti controlled.
Ocasio-Cortez denied her link to the group. “Yeah, um, this is a separate PAC, it’s not one that I founded or anything like that,” she told The Post at a constituent event in Woodside. “But what we’re really experiencing is that special interest groups filed bogus ethics complaints and they routinely lead to nowhere,” she said. “So that’s just another one of these.”

Lots and lots of money was raised from political action committees controlled by Ocasio-Cortez and her campaign manager----Saikat Chakrabarti----now her congressional chief of staff.
Saikat Chakrabarti then established an LLC----a for-profit company that does not require reporting its finances. Apparently with all the scrutiny Chakrabarti has since closed his company doors.
Chakrabarti may have closed down the LLC....but are the company's bank accounts still open?
B/c the LLC bank accounts were used to convert campaign donations to spending money for those involved including AOC. (see details below)

The FEC complaint asserts that AOC's COS, Saikat Chakrabarti, early on established two PACs that raised big bucks for AOC's campaign:
<><> the "Brand New Congress PAC,"
<><> the "Justice Democrats PAC."
After mucho money was raised, Chakrabarti systematically transferred $885,000+ in PAC contributions to his private companies with similar names:
<><> the "Brand New Campaign LLC,"
<><> the " Brand New Congress LLC."
Saikat Chakrabarti's LLC's (private companies), unlike PACs, are exempt from reporting all of their significant expenditures.
NOTE WELL: it's a much-used criminal act to enrich oneself, to open bank accounts using similarly named
entities to siphon off money, to hide it from partners, associates, investors, etc.
SIPHONINGS A CINCH It's easy to siphon off money for oneself by putting checks into the new accounts with similar names, depositing checks that were made out to
the original entity. Even your bank advises that if a check-writer "mis-spelled" your name, to just endorse the check with the correct name.
AND PRESTO: a check made out to Brand New Congress PAC, is deposited in the Brand New Congress LLC account.
This is going to be fun to watch.

There is video of her saying that her brother submitted her application to Justice Democrats as well as video of Justice Democrats staff saying that she applied and tried out for them.
Sharpton stills owes the IRS millions & the Clinton Foundation is beyond scrutiny. Dual system of investigation and justice? Yes indeed.

What will be interesting is to see who rolls over on whom when some serious pressure is applied. We know AOC is just a performer, but she’s got a big mouth and ego to match and no doubt will demonstrate a strong self-preservation instinct.
Chakrabarti is a shrewd dude, brilliant some say, and clearly in a different league IQ-wise. But he is an unknown, and his only political value is through her. So who will care if Edgar Bergen gets snuffed out as long as their beloved Charlie McCarthy continues to perform?
Which is to say, if the tail gets pinned on AOC, she’s done. But if it Chakrabarti gets the short straw, then she’s done anyway, eventually. A parasite can’t live without a host.
Or, just ask the donor to write the check to “Brand New Congress” and deposit wherever.

Actually he has quite a few connections...but, as you say...he's shrewd enough to keep them hidden.
Saikat Chakrabarti was....wait for it....... Bernie's Director of Organizing Technology. Even old man Bernie knew enough to hire a tech expert.
So, I guess (smirk) Chakrabarti's tech skills musta come in mighty handy when donations to Bernie were wire-transferred to the DNC
and ended up in Hillary's account. Debbie W/S headed the DNC at the time and was ousted b/c of her bias for Hillary.
Course, none of us heard about any of this, but.....

I wouldn’t necessary believe allegations against Justice democrats pac. The DNC is trying to crush them for funding challengers to rat incumbents and less viable candidates in swing seats.
LLC bank accounts were used to convert campaign donations to spending money.
She’s pure democrat they trained her well. The rats miss the old scam of cashing a $30,000 check for a book of stamps.
