Almost sounds like the movie “The Postman” with Kevin Costner.

That’s not neutral. That’s the left. Particularly during Obama’s usurpation of the white house.
They used to say that all the time. When we have Trump we still have a fight.. so we can’t take that time off and just enjoy ourselves.
What would such a conflict look like?
East St Louis. A flash mob of blacks hits a Best Buy store, intent on looting it of electronics. Store security is overwhelmed and beat to the ground. Two customers with CCW permits in the back of the retail area draw their weapons and begin forcing the crowd back toward the entrance. One of the looters pulls out a hand gun, firing at the two customers, one of whom goes down, but not before killing some of the blacks.
A standoff ensues, giving time for law enforcement to arrive. The event is contained with casualties of seven dead and nineteen wounded.
Fast forward to the criminal trial of the two armed customers, one Asian and one white. They are sentenced to five years in prison, with the sentence suspended in lieu of ten years probation.
Black activists are infuriated and incite riots. with looting and arson. More rioters are bused in from outside the city. To prevent the influx of more protesters, the county sheriff blocks freeways into the city.
Since these freeways constitute part of the Interstate Highway system, the federal government demands freeways be reopened. County and local officials refuse.
The governor activates the National Guard to dislodge the LEO blockade, but on their arrival at the scene, most of the guardsmen refuse the governor’s order to fire on the LEO forces.
As rioting in the city continues, the mayor and city council institute curfews and threaten martial law. Nothing has any effect. When the governor then declares martial law, the city officials resign en masse.
Army troops are mustered but before they can get to the city, the National Guard on scene purges governor-supporting officers and unites with the LEO and state troopers.
Whether to wage war on our own troops splits the federal government into factions along party and racial lines, paralyzing the legislature. Inability to address perceived grievances results in riots in cities across the US, usually pitting whites against blacks.
The president, blamed for ineffectual leadership, goes on TV resigning to allow for racial ‘healing,’ turning the presidency over the his VP, a black woman who proves to be radically anti-law enforcement. Her Cabinet fails to implement the president’s removal under the 25th amendment and every member either resigns or is fired.
Faced with civil unrest throughout the country, the president declares martial law, resulting in the dismissal of the Army Chief of Staff, who refused to initiate enforcement of martial law. Most of the remaining Army brass also perform what was described as ‘mutiny in place.’
Unable to enforce her will, the president goes on TV and proclaims an end to the Republic, allowing direct rule from the White House. The Congress erupts as the nation burns.
State militias battle federal troops as civilians wage war in the city streets.
Civil War II has begun.

When the dems take the Oval Office again. That’s when it’s going to start.
And my prediction is a bit tinfoil hat. I believe they are warehousing and building more advanced robots at Boston Dynamics than any of us are aware of. And I seriously think these deployments are the only way the left can wage a war against us.
So yes. I believe in the robot apocalypse. And I’m preparing accordingly.

As of last week or so we have an established list of member states of the Confederacy.
I once felt all that kind of anger, which a man ought to feel, against the mean principles that are held by the Tories: a noted one, who kept a tavern at Amboy, was standing at his [[door], with as pretty a child in his hand, about eight or nine years old, as I ever saw, and after speaking his mind as freely as he thought was prudent, finished with this unfatherly expression, "Well! give me peace in my day."
Not a man lives on the continent but fully believes that a separation must some time or other finally take place, and a generous parent should have said, "If there must be trouble, let it be in my day, that my child may have peace;" and this single reflection, well applied, is sufficient to awaken every man to duty.

Agreed. Sadly the Left consists of many “Americans” that are our family members, and the only clear solution really sucks.
As the Founders stated, folks will tolerate immense quantities of mistreatment to avoid conflict, but there comes a point where that tolerance is exhausted. Then it gets ugly.
This conflict either comes within the next ten years or the vast majority of those who want to be FREE and understand what’s at stake will die off.
All the leftist have to do is wait us out
This war will be between family members, friends, communities.
Socialism/communism is like cancer that has spread all over the body.
Fighting it will not be as clean and easy as fighting flash mobs or marching hordes of thugs.
Just a few weeks ago, I met with my family attorney regarding a will. He told me that his wife is a liberal in many of her beliefs and he admitted that frankly he just doesn't have the will to fight her (not that he was ever that conservative).
He said that she's a liberal because she's just tender-hearted.
This is how socialism/communism preys on many people. It sells the "con" in the name of "tender-heartedness" and by the use of virtue signaling.
This enemy is sneaky. It can infect people by just making them unsure of what they believe.
Now how do you wage war (and like it or not we must wage war), when the enemy invades the members of your family?

Those Leftist family members enthusiastically vote for people who want control over your life. They may be family members but they do not respect your rights and are quite happy to see you suffer under the heavy hand of government, endure higher taxes, confiscate your hard earned wealth, promote the indoctrination of your children in our so-called “educational system”, and have your vote cancelled out by illegal immigrants.
Their devotion to ideology is more important than any love of family.
You may well be right. But it will be interesting to see how the socialists go about funding their utopian schemes in a nation that is financially bankrupt and morally shattered. There isn’t going to be much for them to work with by then. It will be a mess.
‘The cops’ in my area are 20/30 something young thugs, for the most part. They’d get crushed if they tried anything.
I’m too old to lug around an M-16 and a full compliment of ammo etc. anymore, but I can still hit a moving target at 300m.

I’ve never known a Leftist who didn’t think he or she was altruistic.
Flash mobs are merely external pustules of this cancer.
It will start out as confusing and undefined. Then both sides will get uniforms and lines will be drawn. It will be the coast vs the middle.
This is a war not just against an enemy who is taking over our country's institutions and laws, it is taking over our very families.
I'm not sure what the answer is, but I know full-well that we must fight.
We must fight and we must win.
The question is "how"?
We are at that point in the movie, "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" when Dr. Miles Bennell just reaches another town.
And after a brief period of thinking he's crazy, the police who have been interviewing him get reports about the alien pods having been found in a wrecked truck out at the edge of town.
We are at that point where we are just waking up to the reality of this fight.
We are just at the very beginning.
