Is there any number of illegal border crossings into the United States that would strike Democrats as an emergency?
As they resisted President Trump's efforts to stem the flow of illegal migrants across the U.S.-Mexico border, many Democrats made the point that fewer migrants are coming today than years ago, during the Bill Clinton and George W. Bush presidencies. The implication was that today's situation cannot be an emergency, because it used to be worse.
That doesn't make sense, of course. One could argue that crossings were an unaddressed emergency back then, and that today's figures, although lower, also qualify as an emergency.
But now, the border numbers are surging back to the bad old days. It appears that Customs and Border Patrol apprehended more than 100,000 people in March (the precise figure has not yet been released), a pace that could mean more than 1 million apprehensions this year.

They WILL declare it an emergency if the illegals start having a propensity to vote Republican.
About the time they illegals break past the gates protecting their homes.
This is a damn invasion to destroy the country. Its time for all good men come to the aid of their country.
Maybe once an illegal personally affects them or a member of their family. Until then, it is just politics for them.
What will it take to wake them up? Simple. Cows. Lots and lots of cows. Enough cows to feed the world.

This is a manufactured crisis. The caravans are manufactured and funded by people like Soros to guarantee the principles of Cloward-Piven are fulfilled to overwhelm the resources of the USA. Free medical care, free college, drivers’ license, free lodging, no-ask welfare benefits.....
It’s not an emergency, it’s an opportunity for them.
They benefit from the out of control border.
Even without the possibility that they’re being paid off by the cartels their ideology makes them eager 5th Columnists for anything that tears America down.
Never happen. This is an invasion supported by Dems for obvious reasons. In any sane society, it would be reason for war. Physical war.
It would require that illegals pledging to vote Republican start pouring over the border.
