Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez expected to become a “lightning rod” for conservatives, she told MSNBC’s Chris Hayes on Friday during a taped talk about her Green New Deal — an expansive legislative proposal to fight climate change and social inequality that’s controversial even among some of her fellow Democrats.
But, Ocasio-Cortez told Hayes, she didn’t anticipate this amount of anger.
“[The criticism] is next level,” the 29-year-old democratic socialist from New York City told Hayes during their talk, which was recorded in her home borough of the Bronx.

I remember when People was only about stories like one Hollywood idiot marrying some other Hollywood idiot. Like almost all other magazines, it looks like the left has turned it political.
She is a horrible example for women. Watching her (and, indeed, most liberal women), one could easily conclude that women are too stupid to be allowed to participate in politics. She makes herself a target by unabashedly spouting pure stupidity every time she gets a chance.

This is how women argue about many things. It isn't about facts, it's morality. In her mind, she's more morally-correct than you, therefore her answer is correct and yours isn't. If she claims Jefferson was the first president and you claim it's Washington, no amount of history books or encyclopedias will change her mind because YOU left the toilet seat up again! The man is left flabbergasted at how this is related but her point is that she's right because she's a better person. Therefore, you're wrong. This is why men can't win arguments with women because objective facts don't matter to her.
Apparently it appears AOC still does not recognize herself for the idiot she really is.
Cortez is an indication of the mental capacity of Democrats
If you stop and count, think of all the “women” who vilify Trump, everyday...starting with Cortez, then there’s Waters, Pelosi, Fauxahauntus, etc.
Women give him a lot more grief than the other way around.
Cortez just makes herself such an easy target for “vilification”. She short on “smarts” and thin-skinned to boot.
