Trump vows to release FISA docs now that Mueller probe is concluded, slams 'treasonous' FBI

President Trump, in an exclusive wide-ranging interview Wednesday night with Fox News' "Hannity," vowed to release the full and unredacted Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrants and related documents used by the FBI to probe his campaign, saying he wants to "get to the bottom" of how the long-running Russia collusion narrative began.

Trump told anchor Sean Hannity that his lawyers previously had advised him not to take that dramatic step out of fear that it could be considered obstruction of justice.

"I do, I have plans to declassify and release. I have plans to absolutely release," Trump said. "I have some very talented people working for me, lawyers, and they really didn't want me to do it early on. ... A lot of people wanted me to do it a long time ago. I'm glad I didn't do it. We got a great result without having to do it, but we will. One of the reasons that my lawyers didn't want me to do it, is they said, if I do it, they'll call it a form of obstruction."

Trump added: "Frankly, thought it would be better if we held it to the end. But at the right time, we will be absolutely releasing."

Trump also accused FBI officials of committing "treason" -- slamming former FBI Director James Comey as a "terrible guy," former CIA Director John Brennan as potentially mentally ill, and Democrat House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff as a criminal.

Redacted versions of FISA documents already released have revealed that the FBI extensively relied on documents produced by Christopher Steele, an anti-Trump British ex-spy working for a firm funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign and Democratic National Committee, to surveil Trump aide Carter Page.

I think that will be exposed as well, but in some vague/indirect way. This is going to be a very delicate matter as it could damage the trust in our relations with our UK partners.

Brennan and Comey and lesser lights are the most likely fall guys.

***************

Someone will have to be punished. The question is who will the fall guys be? I agree that Brennan and Comey might be the highest level people to face some charges. Their deep involvement is alredy well known so they will soon be lawyering up.

It will also get rough for several FBI staffers. But will anyone in the DOJ be held accountable? It seems to me that there are a couple of higher ups who are in some jeopardy.

Obama knew.

There are texts that prove it and he had meetings about the Trump investigations.

I'm not sure why there is even a question of Obama knowing... HE KNEW. Objectively.

We only need to find out what he knew and when - and how he used our government against us.

“It’s not treason...unless they conspired with a foreign government...”

Are you not familiar with the origins of the Russia Dossier?

Bought and paid for with millions from Hillary Clinton and the DNC, MI6’s Christoper Steele who hasn’t been to Russia in almost a decade used sources there to put it together.

In addition, intelligence was collected and political operations were coordinated in the UK, Italy, Australia, Ukraine and most recently we’re learning Germany.

A conspiracy using global actors from governments of other countries certainly constitutes treason. Some of the treasonous actors in the US may not have direct links to the international political operations and they may be solely guilty of sedition.

Sedition is punishable up to 20 years. Treason holds stronger penalties. :)

Comey had a big tie to Hillary. His wife (and daughters) were into Hillary bigly.

It wouldn't surprise me if his wife was Hillary's courier.

They’ll sing like the Mormon Tabernacle Choir to save their own miserable skins.

In a very real sense the fate of our republic lies in the hands of AG Barr and Senator Graham. They are really the only ones who can hold the seditionists responsible. If they do not do their jobs I fear for the future of the country.

Trump, in a less direct way, is also in a position to move investigations forward with his power to declassify and release related documents that expose the cabal’s activities.

The other day Brennan tried to backtrack and said he had received some “bad information”. I don’t believe him but in the unlikely event that he wasn’t lying, we need to find out WHO fed him such misleading information.

He now wants to pin the blame on others so its time to force him to reveal who the “others” were.

Bad Info Brennan has a nice ring to it. President Trump can have it for free with my compliments.

It’s time to drag his worthless ass in front of a Grand Jury and a Senate committee and put him under oath. Let the entire country watch him either crack or take the Fifth. Either one pretty much seals things.

President Trump is mightily and righteously pissed. I think some very big hammers will drop soon. At least that’s my fervent hope.

Best,

L

Lock ‘em up.

Best. President. Ever.

More winning.

So it’s best to weaponize the FBI and related documents?

Top dirty cops in the FBI need to be 'investigated' and replaced. If they'll leave on their own, give them their pensions...

Start with the idiots who sent 75 agents to Ferguson to stand WITH lowlife criminals and against honest cops... without any evidence of racism whatsoever (beyond 'the word' of a bunch of criminals)...

Then move on the dirty cops who attempted to overthrow a duly elected President. I'm guessing the two groups have lots of overlap.

Release too soon, before laying your groundwork, preparing the people, could have detrimental effects that are NOT good for the country...............

it seems like an unwritten rule that Presidents do not go after ex presidents for crimes.

Written or not it has been a rule all my life and I remember the day FDR Died.

If the UK and Australia were helping the FBI to try and remove the duly elected POTUS from office, THEY ARE a ‘foreign enemy’.

I get what you're saying, but in reality they're close allies.

Sedition is a much more accurate term for what Comey, Brennan and McCabe were involved in.
