Whooo doggies…. President Trump attended a working policy luncheon today with Senate Republicans. Making brief remarks to the media, President Trump answered questions about the Mueller report and the manufactured false Russian narrative.
While avoiding the specifics, President Trump directly inferred the involvement of former President Obama.
[Transcript] 1:05 P.M. EDT – Q Some Democrats, sir, are still talking about impeachment. What’s your response to that?
THE PRESIDENT: I don’t think they’re talking about impeachment. We have the greatest economy we’ve ever had. Our country is in incredible shape. They and others created a fraud on our country with this ridiculous witch hunt, where it was proven, very strongly, no collusion, no obstruction. No nothing.
We are doing so well. We’ve never probably had a time of prosperity like this. It’s been great.
Q Mr. President, you’re accusing the people who launched the investigation into your campaign of treasonous acts.
THE PRESIDENT: Yeah.
Q How high up do you think it went?
THE PRESIDENT: I think it went very high up. I think what happened is a disgrace. I don’t believe our country should allow this ever to happen again. This will never happen again. We cannot let it ever happen again. It went very high up, and it started fairly low, but with instructions from the high up. This should never happen to a President again. We can’t allow that to take place.
Q Mr. President, do you think it reached the West Wing of the Obama White House?
THE PRESIDENT: I don’t want to say that, but I think you know the answer.

Pres Trump’s campaign was never given a defensive briefing by the FBI, despite mounting concerns that Russians were allegedly trying to penetrate the campaign during the 2016 presidential election.
In testimony provided by Obama’s AG Loretta Lynch, along with others, it is the key finding that won’t bode well for the FBI and DOJ. It also raises significant questions regarding the treatment of Hillary Clinton’s campaign and whether she ever received ‘defensive briefings’ in detail from the bureau. Lynch’s testimony is still not public but has been reviewed by SaraACarter.com.
“I WAS CERTAINLY AWARE THAT IT WAS AN OPTION, BUT I DON’T KNOW WHAT, IF ANYTHING, EVER HAPPENED TO THAT OPTION,” SAID LYNCH.
The “defensive briefing” is a time-honored procedure that is often given to presidential candidates, elected officials and even U.S. businesses that have either been unwittingly approached by foreign actors attempting to gain trust and befriend those in position of influence.
The briefing allows the government to protect the candidates, specifically if there is substantial information or knowledge to suggest that someone has targeted an unwitting American for information.
If the FBI or intelligence agencies suspect foreign adversaries may be trying to penetrate a presidential campaign, as those FBI and DOJ sources suggested in testimony to lawmakers, it would then be required to warn those affected, a senior former intelligence official told .. If they would get away with this, it would mean the country was irretrievably lost. DJT and others in positions to do something about it will not let that happen. As you say, they’re going to get clobbered.
And DJT and anyone else with a brain cell understands that if not squashed, the next time will make what they did this time look like child’s play.
These are very evil and ruthlessly dangerous people and they would literally eliminate their enemies next time.

If the media isn’t interested in getting to the bottom of what the Obama administration did, Trump should simply say....
“We know exactly what they did. We know how they used the intelligence apparatus of the United States government for political purposes. It was very sneaky and very impactful. We intend to use the same tactics against the Democrats in 2020.”
You can bet your sweet ass the media would start trying to figure out exactly what happened during the Obama years.
