I am beginning to believe our money donations to these trough chowers are just pocket change. Their real money is from interest groups like the drug cartels who line their pockets and show them the way to hide it. You don’t think the drug cartels and other criminals don’t know how to hide their money?
I'll say this much...
As a newcomer to Washington, Trump relied on the party in Congress to follow through with their statements of support. If he was wrong about anything, it was that the GOP had his back for retaking the White House.
Trump trusted Ryan and McConnell. The fault is really theirs, not his, since ultimately everyone is correct that the border solution is rightfully Congress' to solve.
Even if it was Trump's signature campaign issue, he shouldn't have had to face such fierce fragging by his own side. We had two years of complete federal control, and it was Ryan and McConnell who messed it up, not Trump.
He shouldn't have had to struggle at all to build a coalition, it should have been there eagerly awaiting him. The fact that it wasn't there for repealing ObamaCare, it wasn't there for immigration reform, it wasn't there for getting his Cabinet confirmed, and it' not there now, says all we need to know about Congress, not Trump.

The just do not care what we think.

True to a large extent and especially so when the percentage
isn’t large enough for them to lose their seat. jmo.
“Thats exactly right. They just said Invasion is a civil right”
And the Constitution compels the U.S. to protect the states from invasion...
These repukis are domestic enemies.
The roll call on this vote...
These Republicans dont want to heal this country they want to fight its obvious they want a fight! Dont want this nation to come together and they voted with murderers and rapists. This is all about taking out the Donald .
Given that twelve Republicans voted for this, it doesn’t bode well for future votes.
My family and I called his office and wrote emails, so I’m glad to see that at least he changed his mind.
Where did FDR get the money to build his Japanese internment camps after is Executive Order 9066?
Wall ? Internment Camps? Executive Orders? National Emergencies? What is the difference.
Any of those self-righteous senators that voted for the resolution against Trump’s national emergency would have invoked that very same national emergency order were they president.
Trump can veto it, and the Senate would have to pick up one or two more votes to have a 2/3 majority. It is not unlikely that one or two Republicans did not vote with the 12 this time, but may be encouraged by the closeness to exercise their power to stop on an override vote.
Dittos and Roy Blunt just cut his own throat in MO, but no sham artists pretending to be fellow conservatives against Moron (Moran!)
You just know that the 59 vote number was a message as well.
“Republicans ‘could’ have made it a super majority, we don’t like you mr. Trump, stop changing things we didn’t tell you you could do.”
Roger that 3
I am done voting for POS Rubio.
I did not check all of them, but the pattern is that the Republican senators who voted with the democrats have just been re-elected or elected. They think they are safe from voter wrath.
“Commandeering control of the GOP” -— I have been saying this in every thread. Join up and just be there! Join your local/state GOP organization and just be there to look see and hear what’s going on. It is really a mystery to me but I am going to endure the blah blah blah and travel time just to look into this nest of vipers.
Another party is too risky. To take control of the Repub party, we have to join and be there at a grassroots level.
That’s how the left took over everything.
I just emailed Rubio. I will never vote for him again.
We're in a bad place here.
Two groups deserve blame: 1. Paul Ryan and other congressional (R) "leadership" who could have gotten this done in the last 2 years and 2. The people from the states who keep electing these RINO's.
The worst part is that this cluster F could be even more dire. Image if the (D)'s took the senate in 2018 as well? Trump not getting (what little of) his judicial nominee's confirmed for starters, then no doubt Pelosi would proceed with impeachment as of now because they would have the confidence that the senate would convict, they would have their victory in removing Trump from office.
Have to primary these people with strong enough candidates that they can beat the dem opponent in the general.
This was always going to be an uphill battle with one arm tied behind our backs.
I think the problem is, what Paul Ryan told President Trump was correct, the Senate would have NEVER given him border wall funding..in Congress, yes it would have passed, but NOT in the Senate..too many of them support open borders, its sad but its just fact
We cant wait to primary these dirtbags. They have to feel the pain now and everyday. They declared war on us. They declared war on us! If we dont respond in kind they think its ok. Bad behavior must not be excepted.
Pennsytuckians everyday we will call Toomeys office until we shut down his phones. This is War dont think its not. 202-224-4254 Pennsytuckians have your wives your brothers and sisters and your moms and dads shut him down, Everyone knows what happens if we dont crush this ASAP.
