Sounds good to me too. I like having the extra hour of daylight at end of the day. Dark mornings don’t bother me much but coming home from work in the dark is depressing.
Dark into Light. I like it.
Ping!!
MAKE IT SO! Let's DO IT!
Some Democrat in Harrisburg is trying to get rid of it here in Pennsylvania.
So it appears we are even polarized on THAT.
The Looney Left will now oppose doing it simply because Trump supports it.
Tell the Democrats to NOT think about making Daylight Savings Time permanent!!! They will file the Bill before midnight to make it permanent!
Is there anyone who is against it?
If President Trump did it by EO it would get pretty funny. The Dems would oppose it just because he did it, in spite of a vast majority in surveys saying they want to keep it like it is now. Then the ‘pubs could accuse Chuck and Nancy and their Coven as being opposed to children playing in daylight, or whatever. <^..^>
I don’t see the down side. It’s horrible when it’s pitch black before 5:00 p.m.
I got tripped up by the change yesterday. I walked into church to hear the pastor’s voice in the lobby wrapping up his sermon.
Get rid of time zones too. We’re not riding stagecoaches anymore.
How about we get rid of it permanently! Although making it permanent is the next best choice.
The argument against it has been that school children who start classes early will be waiting for the bus in the dark.
Libs are trying to figure out why Putin told Trump to do this.
Standard time, daylight saving time, halfway in between. I don’t care. Just stop this stupid time-changing. Pick one and stay.
More light for sports and recreation after work.
How about we advance the clocks ahead a couple minutes every week for half the year, and then retard them the same amount on the other half.
Then we get the benefits of both time periods without the sleeping shock, and we’ll create an entire industry to fix all of our clocks, software, appliances, etc. That will require plenty of coders, so it solves the problem of MSM “journalists” made unemployed lately. They can “learn to code” and apply that new knowledge right away.
but, but, but...we like STANDARD time for a year-round measure.
Or, the vast majority of people do.
