Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was hit Thursday with an ethics complaint for listing her live-in boyfriend as a staff member and getting him an official House email address.
The liberal superstar violated at least two provisions of the House Code of Official Conduct and possibly U.S. criminal law by making false statements about boyfriend Riley Roberts being a staff member, according to the complaint by the conservative Coolidge Reagan Foundation.
“AOC has gotten away with utter hypocrisy for far too long. The Coolidge Reagan Foundation will do whatever it takes to expose AOC’s transgressions and hold her accountable,” said Shaun McCutcheon, the chairman of the foundation. “We’re going to actively monitor AOC’s campaign finance reports and congressional actions to push back on her un-American, anti-speech agenda.”
Ms. Ocasio-Cortez, New York Democrat, has denied any wrongdoing and accused conservative groups of targeting her.
The congresswoman’s office has said that Mr. Roberts is not a staff member and only receives the same benefits as other spouses, including a House email address.

I guarantee the Old Guard Democrats like Pelosi and Steny Hoyer wouldn’t mind a rebuke of some kind against AOC. The truth is they know now she is the rising star of the RAT Party, and many in the base are tired of the old fossils in charge. San Fran Nan won’t be so quick to defend her, if at all!
I as thinking, it sure would be fun if James O’Keefe could get someone into her inner circle. Those “dorm room bull session” strategy meetings would be fascinating to listen to, I’m sure:

Does anyone here really think that a House Code of Conduct or US Criminal Law mean jack to this raghead? She will bend to Sharia Law, but no other.

She’s also facing a couple of potential Campaign Finance violations by paying herself a salary during her election.
I have to think some of these exposés of AOC's questionable expenditures, riding in gas guzzlers, and hiding $1M PAC money etc. are coming from the old guard Dems. That's a civil war worth watching!!

This article doesn't have three or four authors like so many others these days. How can one authoress not keep her facts straight? How can an author write such contradictions within sentences of each other?
Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong, but I was of the understanding that this was a "boyfriend" not a "spouse".
Do the boyfriends and girlfriends (or other-friends) of other House members get those same benefits as well? How about friends-with-benefits? How about casual acquaintances? How about strangers off the streets?
I think the Senate should do an investigation, and subpoena 81 people.
Somehow, I believe that San Fran Nan is probably BEHIND these sudden revelations of what a corrupt crook the new little darling is.
If Pelosi can (and did) get away with insider trading, Big Teeth will also get away with her ethics problems. As well as her more serious FEC million dollar slush fund illegalities.
Yep, this is just the start of her initiation in politics.
