Republican. Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky revealed this week that there are at least 10 Senate Republicans who will betray President Donald Trump and vote against his national emergency declaration.
While speaking at the Southern Kentucky Lincoln Day Dinner late Saturday, Paul said that he couldnt vote to give extra-constitutional powers to the president.

Look at all those women and children. Oh wait, all I see is fit military age men.
F the republican party. They are hopelessly Bushie globalist. This is what they want to see.
Trump at this point should DROP the NE and just stop all alien immigration period as the law allow him to do.
Rand Paul.
The republican version of AOC.
Ahem, Article I, Section 7: "If after such reconsideration two thirds of that House shall agree to pass the bill, it shall be sent, together with the objections, to the other House, by which it shall likewise be reconsidered, and if approved by two thirds of that House, it shall become a law."
Last time I checked two-thirds of the Senate was 67. And the bill would go back to the House first and there aren't 292 votes for it there.
The weasel Eric Cantor thought he was immune as well.......
Trump would beg to differ.
BINGO
Exactly!!!!
Primary harrangue and cut them off from any GOP support.
Am I dreaming? What the blazes is wrong with this country?
The world is already their oyster. These politicians can have all the booze and drugs and boys and girls and vacations and yachts and private jets and money they will ever want already. We all know that.
What more do they gain by wrecking our country??

Is the ability to declare national emergencies extra-constitutional powers? I would agree that it is. The problem with Sen. Paul’s position is that congress already passed that law a long time ago. That horse left the barn wandered off and is now nowhere to be seen. The vote isn’t on granting Trump extra-constitutional powers, it’s on permitting Trump to use the extra-constitutional powers that have were ceded by congress and have been used repeatedly by other presidents. Sorry Sen. Paul, your time for making the argument and taking a moral stance has long gone. Way too late to try closing that barn door now.
Asylum. That’s the code word. The get out of jail free card. That’s all you need. Laws are such a mess.
Jerry Moran (Kan.)
Todd Young (Ind.)
Mitt Romney (Utah)
Ben Sasse (Neb.)
Ted Cruz (Texas)
Mike Lee (Utah)
Ron Johnson (Wis.)
Four from agricultural states, two treacherous mormons, and one hispanic. F Ted Cruz. I remember Trump pulling out all the stops for him back in NOVEMBER. Beto would have defeated him without Trump.
Robert, they fooled you too.
I looked for the list and found that.
Unfortunately these are those just considering voting against Trump.
Thats bad enough, but they arent for sure against Trump yet.
This was very poorly presented.
He should have had a wall............... Oh.
But if the repubs play nice, the dims would not dare to play not nice.
Right?
That is the flimsiest, moronic reason I have ever heard. No wonder the repubs are such losers.
Not to mention that it takes 2/3 to override a veto, which is 67, not 60.
I hate it but we might as well realize what we're up against.
