As the number of migrant families crossing the southwest border was again breaking records, officials said Tuesday they were building a new facility to manage them, while warning the crush is overwhelming border agents and straining facilities. More than 76,000 migrants crossed the U.S.-Mexico border last month, more than double the number from the same period last year. Most were families coming in ever-increasingly large groups — there were 70 groups of more than 100 people in the past few months, and they cross illegally in extremely rural locations with few agents and staff. There were only 13 large groups during the previous budget year, and only two the year before. The system "is well beyond capacity, and remains at the breaking point," U.S. Customs and Border Protection Kevin McAleenan said a press conference Tuesday.

So Yes president Reagan was Right: Government is the problem. Government agencies or government is inherently corrupt as those few examples i just wrote proved. Other examples are the government schools, FDA, EPA etc.

This IS NOT record immigration at our border.
During about years 2-5 of the GW Presidential years, our borders were fairly non-existent.
All his prattling about amnesty had caused millions to flood our borders. At the time, Time Magazine ran an article that cited the flow at 3.5 million persons per year.
I never believed that figure, but it was certainly within the realm of possibility that it was between 2.0 and 2.5 million per year.
Recalling back to the late 80s and early 1990s, the decade started out with any illegal that wanted being able to sign on to the 1986 Amnesty. We should have been near zero illegals in 1990.
By the end of the decade, the Census pegged the illegal presence at 9.0 million. That was their final tally after reworking the numbers. Who knows how accurate that was, but that was their claim. That means that the average in the 90s was about 900,000 per year.
2.0 to 2.5 million would not have been totally out of bounds, and our immigration service acknowledged they were seeing massive numbers and were just swamped.
So today’s number are not good, but keeping them in perspective, there’s nothing to panic about.
None the less, I hate the thought of even ten illegals coming over per year, and I want that wall completed “YESTERDAY!”
The crime associated with illegal aliens on both sides of the border today, is unacceptable. I don’t envy Mexico having to deal with them either, but then they let them into their nation.
Still, being frank about it, we can’t stop them at our border either. That’s why we need the wall.
It’s not just the crime illegals commit which they do. Immigrants legal and illegal vote for democrats/socialism.

America didn’t just magically decline and turn to the left.
democrats planned it that way starting with the 1965 immigration act. Democrats imported voters 10’s of millions of them legal and illegal from the 3rd world.
I’m just still a little fuzzy as to what the illegal alien quotient has been.
Did they move them in thinking as they became citizens they’d vote left, or did they plan on it as soon as they wound up here?
I am inclined to think we have illegals voting, but I don’t know what the numbers are. I don’t think anyone really does.
It’s almost as if they are afraid to look and answer for it.

I have seen a huge increase, in our suburban area, over the past five years.
I told hubby that at our local HEB (somewhat high-end grocery store) that every other customer in line is an illegal. He recently went to the store with me, and saw it for himself. He couldn’t believe it. And....they pay with SNAP....aka YOUR tax $$.
They’re also receiving housing, education and Medicaid. On YOUR tax $$.
Back in the 90s, my then wife related the situation she ran into at work.
She was in a position to do work interviews for perspective employees.
One woman came in and told her the services she was getting from the federal government. My wife and I were making decent income at the time, just under $100k per years between us. This lady and her husband had considerably more income at their disposal than we did, and neither of them had a job.
It’s just shocking how lackadaisical our government is about handing out money for free.
I believe the two of them were recent immigrants. They spoke with a heavy Eastern European accent, or at least a foreign accent from that somewhere in that hemisphere.
Scary.
Same thing has been happening in this city for 30 years, immigrants legal and illegal flooding this city and America.
Somalis, mexicans, nicaraguans, hondurans, middle easterns etc all getting welfare and voting for democrats/socialism.
Menawhile morons like Rand Paul, Lamar Alexander,Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Thom Tillis of North Carolina are turning a blind eye to this invasion by stabbing Trump in the back.

Back during W’s time, it was estimated that 1 in 8-10 people in the US was illegal. Can’t imagine the number today.
Claymores would put a halt to this rather quickly. After all, they are criminal illegal alien invaders. I don’t give a cap what age they are. Keep OUT!
