The Senate voted Tuesday to confirm Allison Jones Rushing, 37, to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit, making her the youngest federal judge in the country.
The Senate voted 53-44 to put Rushing into the lifetime court seat. Every Republican present voted for her. Every Democrat present opposed her.

No, the RINOs are waiting for a Dim to get into the White House so they can get partial credit for another commie judge can get into a life time position to turn the Republic over to the One Worlders.
I already love her.
Senator Tillis is about to taint his great reputation on the Judiciary Committee when he votes for the resolution to overturn the Presidents National Emergency Executive Order. He is confused about the law, the Constitution, and the roles of the Executive and the Legislature. Not good for someone who sits on the Judiciary Committee.
Ping
She WILL NEVER go wobbly like Roberts
And Im not holding my breath that Kavanaugh will be any better than Roberts
The Free Republic Admin should add a, Like Button, on here.
However, I concur with your statement.
I’d be curious to see what the political makeup/leanings of the jurists that are leaving. If Graham gets off his ass and does around 2 or 3 a week, he’d be able to make a serious dent in those numbers.
I wonder if that's when they're in a primarily female environment. The traitors in the US Senate and House seem to surround themselves with a gaggle of women, not with like-minded conservatives both male and female.
I just had a thought. Is the "me too" movement making it more difficult for conservative women to be where they stay conservative, in a primarily male environment? It's getting so people are afraid to make friends and be alone with those of the opposite sex. Not for behavior but for how it will be interpreted
I’d like to see Barrett on SCOTUS. Especially since they gave her such a hard time getting to where she is now. But, I think if Ginsburg gets gone and the President can replace her, that pick will eliminate Roberts’ ability to side with the Liberals. It’s, at worst, a 5-4 court, if not, 6-3. Breyer could walk realizing that his resistance is futile and he’s old. 6-3 on a bad day, 7-2 on a good one.
Can’t imagine what the President would be able to do.
Yes. I learned a long time ago that I can not accurately learn all I need to know about a person or an issue without a great deal of time and effort put into the process.
But if a Rat opposes it, then I know one thing. I’m for it.
And then there are people I trust. Like Trump and Cruz. I don’t always understand or even agree with what everything they say or what they do. But overall I trust them to usually do the right thing.
” 6-3 on a bad day, 7-2 on a good one.”
I always also am hopeful, that along with Breyer leaving, that “The Wise Latrina’s” Type 1 Diabetes will force her off the court as well. That would leave at worst, an 7-2 court with the Liberals being Roberts and the Fat Yenta.
I think if either Breyer or Ginsburg leave and the President replaces them, or both God willing, I’m thinking she’ll leave. It’s an exercise in futility for her at that point and she isn’t healthy.
Why stay? While she may be all about affirmative action and all that jazz, she doesn’t come across as the liberal warrior that will have to be carried out of the place like RBG.
I pray that you are right! I just wished that we would get “a little help from Satan” on Ginsberg, because she’s the lynchpin to the current house of cards at the SCOTUS.
And the other lot dont?? Please!
Necky..
No, just partisanship all round as ever..
At least as they were as late as the 1970’s or 1980’s. SHE’s have been driving them leftward.
What makes you think it ever was a unified country? IMHO, not since the Presidency of Richard M. Nixon. That was really when the MSM went nuts to the left. I remember when pols from both parties used to HATE the MSM because they were regularly raked over the coals with intensive questioning on their activities both in and out of office. But after Nixon, the media slid to the left and continued that bias to where it is now.
