The Cult-like Psychology of the Progressive Movement

Progressive should always be put in quotes. Because there’s nothing “progressive” about socialism or communism.

They deceive the masses through mob mentality. The media tells them who to hate, and makes up a bunch of lies to justify it. Most have been whipped up to the point that they won’t listen to anything else, so the lies themselves are never checked. Hatred is the easiest emotion to manipulate a mob with.

The only thing “progressive” about their movement is that it’s *progressively* destroying our (once great) country.

Support for this theory includes ties between Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan (who endorses training in Scientology, and whose followers worked in election campaigns of Obama) and the Black Congressional Caucus (whose members are front and center in investigations of persons tied to the Trump administration).

Yep...The wife and I watched the Leah Remini/Scientology series on A & E, though we knew some things about the cult it was an eye opener.

It's been a long time since I once did a lot of reading on cults, but I was reminded of one of the ancillary traits:

Members' public confession (in front of the cult group) is another biggy in cults. It's almost a mark of membership, a way to show your bonafides. Hence you get all these followers running around confessing their fake guilt, or issuing immediate apologies when the herd accuses them of violating the dogma. They will do anything to belong.

Pathetic!

Yes, he’s spot-on. He is a sound thinker and writes extremely coherently.

Actual peer reviewed studys have show that progressives lack empathy compared to conservatives.

Nearly all progressives, especially environmentalists, have a Messiah Complex.

The 2016 election is a classic case of a Disconfirmed Expectancy.

If you want to see this up close, read the recent article in the WaPoo about the coming civil war. It’s all Trump’s fault, of course. Don’t forget to peruse the comments.

What you will find is the omission of antifa, BLM, pussie hats, hoaxes, attacks on conservative speakers and supporters, and assassination attempts on Republicans and cops. It’s all KKK, fascist, racists, gun nuts vs people who understand the truth and are morally superior.

Reality is eventually going to kick them in the teeth.

In a sane world Sheriff Clarke would be our President.

“Socialism and its forbearer communism”

That statement is backwards, socialism is the forebarer of communism, but otherwise he is correct.

If we’d just repent and amend our sinful ways; I’d bet good money that sanity would start to return.

To me the psychology is to stand everything on it’s head. Part of it is for a love of novelty and the new. Part of it is to usher in the minorities as a sign of equality and newness and for sheer spite. Emotion is praised, reason is kicked to the side. The mental supersedes the material: everything real is a mental construct and biology is out the window. It’s the effort to impose your will and whim on reality, especially others. Everything great is a sign of impiety; beauty is out and the cult of ugliness is in.

But why? Because we live in great times of prosperity and wealth. We are bored and long to be gods or, the next best thing, creative artists. In other words, this is the sign of decadent luxury and romanticism. We don’t have to think about going hungry — because that would put an end to all this idleness and escapism. We flatter ourselves that we are progressive, with our new luxuriant beard, the hipster latte... it’s all for show.

I really believe that Sheriff Clarke would make a fantastic director of the FBI.
