Not African at All
American Thinker ^ | Randolph Parrish

We are all familiar with the track record of African-Americans in voting for the Democratic Party. In many elections the ratio is comfortably above ninety percent. If the Episcopal Church was once described as "The Republican Party at prayer", certainly the African-American church for the last fifty years could be described as "The Democratic Party at prayer."

In practical terms, what this means is that the black community has marched in lock-step with the agenda of that party: abortion, same-sex marriage, normalizing transgenderism, secularized education, and the like.

The results of this dogmatic one-sided commitment to the progressive vision: one-third of African-American children will be aborted; seventy percent of African-American children are born out of wedlock; only 15-20 percent will reach their teenage years in two-parent families.

...

But here is the voice of a real African, speaking for the African (not the "African-American") church: Dr. Jerry P. Kulah (Dean of Gbarnga School of Theology, United Methodist University in Liberia) to a Methodist Conference in St. Louis last week, which met to consider the adoption of liberal leftist views on sexual identity:

... please hear me when I say as graciously as I can: we Africans are not children in need of western enlightenment when it comes to the church’s sexual ethics. We do not need to hear a progressive U.S. bishop lecture us about our need to “grow up.”

We stand with farmers in Zambia, tech workers in Nairobi, Sunday School teachers in Nigeria, biblical scholars in Liberia, pastors in the Congo, United Methodist Women in Cote d’Ivoire, and thousands of other United Methodists all across Africa who have heard no compelling reasons for changing our sexual ethics, our teachings on marriage, and our ordination standards!

Africans have a different view of this. That is why I wish Cardinal Sarah could become Pope once the current nutcase either dies or is evicted for heresy.

My opinion which may not be accurate is that the black Americans who vote Democrat are wanting the Great Society monies. As far as the issues of sexuality I am not so certain that the black Americans are for or are indifferent. It is just the idea of I vote that you give me the money.

once the current nutcase either dies or is evicted for heresy.

Why leave out excommunicated or burned at the stake? The RCC used to employ those methods for his kind.

“... one-third of African-American children will be aborted ...”

Margret Sanger would want that number to rise since that was the aim in the first place - abort blacks out of existence.

The author compares German Christians under Hitler to Black Christians under the Democratic Party.

That is a grotesque historical distortion.

Within two years of assuming power, Hitler murdered dozens of his political opponents, and murdered dozens more of his former political allies.

The first concentration camps were not created for Jews, Gypsies, deviants, or the disabled.

The first concentration camps were created for regime opponents. Thousands were arrested, then released after a few months.

They returned to their neighborhoods as terrorized human beings, completely broken in body and spirit.

Thousands more of regime opponents would die in those camps because of sickness, malnutrition, hypothermia, and beatings.

Black Americans have complete freedom of choice to support or oppose the Democrat Party.

The only people Black Americans genuinely fear are other Black Americans.

And that with good reason.

Your opinion is spot-on. The Democrat party is a coalition of many interests, each of whom must support the other, whether they agree with them or not.

One thing the Mexican Constitution has that we should consider doing.Mexico has no hyphenated Mexicans. They prohibit any reference to race when they conduct a census or issue any means of identification, Where a physical description is needed skin color yes but not by race or nationality or tribal background.By doing this Mexico has avoided “balkanizing”, creating fractional disputes in areas where a given group in one of its states is a majority or a minority.

Exactly!
Those that accused Bush and now Trump of Nazism are ignorant of history.

“If the Episcopal Church was once described as “The Republican Party at prayer”, certainly the African-American church for the last fifty years could be described as “The Democratic Party at prayer.”

I though this was clearly illustrated when TWO “African-American ministers) - Jack$on & $harpton - ran for president, and nobody raised the issue of separating church & state. The “African-American church” is a political movement and a business, nothing else.
