The military already has a big problem with suicides. Allowing mentally ill transgenders in the ranks is not going to help. Rate of suicide within that demographic group is astronomical.
And illegal drug use.
40% of “transgenders” attempt or succeed at suicide. That’s before AND AFTER surgery...
I outraged a liberal leaning person once, suggesting that anyone getting hormone shots and other treatment for this, does more harm than good in the military.
I further outraged him, by saying that the military is fundamentally different from civilian life, and that we should not be applying the concepts of anti discrimination laws from civilian life to the military.
What I just wrote here is probably common sense to people here. But in the liberal world, where transsexual people are now an honored class of people, we aren’t allowed to apply such reasoning to the issue at hand .
The real reason: Because we shouldn’t give loaded guns to the mentally ill.
“Transgender” IS gender dysphoria, therefore people who consider themselves such are not fit to serve.
Because you don’t give a machine gun to a psychotic.

I got out 18 years ago. At that time gays in the military wasn’t even a discussion. I believed then, as I do now, that homosexuals in the military decrease unit cohesion and cause distraction from the mission at hand, distractions that a unit commander does not need to be dealing with on top of everything else he’s dealing with in wartime. Transsexuals multiply that by at least a factor of 10, it’s just ridiculous to even consider having people that are that mentally ill in the military.
When do we decide that we really don’t want to resist things that degrade the US Military. If it’s anything like the FBI or DOJ (or Congress for that matter) maybe we don’t want it to work.
Leftist activists expect us to yield. They must be denied and ridiculed. Remember that trans-dragon is only removed from transgender by a matter of degree – some prosthesis, a bit of reconstruction, a fuel supply and ignition source.
It’s all part of the plan by the Socialists. Conservatives go along with this crap because they don’t want to offend people.
Well I will be ‘offensive’ to any group that threaten the safety of our troops...and frankly I would not want to shower or room with men who ‘think’ they’re women.
