he political operative at the center of an election fraud scandal that has engulfed a North Carolina congressional race was arrested Wednesday on charges of illegal ballot handling and conspiracy. Four people working for him were also charged.
Leslie McCrae Dowless Jr., 63, was accused of directing workers to collect and mail in other people's absentee ballots during the 2018 Republican congressional primary and the 2016 general election. It is against the law in North Carolina for anyone other than the voter or a close relative to handle a mail-in ballot.

I once visited my aunt who was living in a senior apartment and I saw an absentee ballot sitting on her coffee table. I asked her if she had asked for it and she said no. I then asked her if she wanted to vote. She said yes. I helped her to fill it out by reading out the names of the people running for office and asking her the questions for the propositions. My aunt had macular degeneration and could not read the form easily. I then took her ballot to the correct voting authority.
And then they try to convince you that that's what the Republicans do, and their media pals will help them push the narrative.
He might have a very remote chance at acquittal by claiming violation of the Equal Protection law, since California allows this...................
This guy is the scapegoat. Now they have a face to go with the Republican cheating. I’m surprised they didn’t get a picture of someone wearing a MAGA hat.

You did the right thing. You were a close relative. In Pennsylvania, if you assist someone in person, we have an additional step of signing an assisted voter register and an election worker is to witness that there is no coercion or undue suggestion involved.

The Democrats do the same, except they’ve legalized it in most places where they do it, particularly the West Coast.
It was illegal since it’s so easy to bribe people or change votes...and it’s how California flipped something like 7 Congressional seats AFTER election night votes were counted. Even Paul Ryan was asking questions about it, just before disappearing from Congress and becoming a lobbyist.
Anyone can vote in Cali. You don't have to be a resident of the county, state, or even the planet to vote here. You don't even need to be breathing.

In 2016, Gov. Jerry Brown signed into law a change to Section 3017 of the Election Code that allows any person to collect a mail-in ballot from voters and turn in the mail ballot to a polling place or the registrar’s office. Prior law restricted the practice to just relatives of or those living in the same household as the voter.

After decades of unpunished, in-plain-sight, Democrat voter fraud, every MSM news source in the USA is currently reporting on alleged “vote harvesting” by a Republican Congressman with health issues, including - in my opinion - possible mental health issues.
At the time I was also a precinct chair and worked elections so I knew the right thing to do.
