Should you trust “experts” whose predictions are always wrong?
It is too late to do anything about the unproven hypothesis that humans are causing enormous planet Earth’s climate to change. Maybe human activity is affecting the planet’s temperature (it isn’t). Maybe we could have done something about it (we never could, that’s ludicrous considering the size of the planet). But whatever we could have done, it’s too late now. We should just stop worrying about it.
United Nations’ experts told us that by 1999 it was too late to halt global warming. In 1989, there was a 10 year window, and it was over by 1999. It is now too late to do anything about global warming. The window closed in 1989.

As the warming melts polar icecaps, ocean levels will rise by up to three feet, enough to cover the Maldives and other flat island nations, Brown told The Associated Press in an interview on Wednesday.

Meanwhile NBC News is reporting on September 14, 2006 that BY 2016 it will be “too late” to do anything about man-made global warming. We had only “one decade left” from September 2016 to act in time. Well, that time has come and gone. So …. Don’t worry about it. It’s too late now.

NASA scientist James Hansen, widely considered the doyen of American climate researchers, said governments must adopt an alternative scenario to keep carbon dioxide emission growth in check and limit the increase in global temperatures to 1 degree Celsius (1.8 degrees Fahrenheit).
“I think we have a very brief window of opportunity to deal with climate change … no longer than a decade, at the most,” Hansen said Wednesday at the Climate Change Research Conference in California’s state capital.
If the world continues with a “business as usual” scenario, Hansen said temperatures will rise by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius (3.6 to 7.2 degrees F) and “we will be producing a different planet.”

“It is not too late to save the Arctic, but it requires that we begin to slow carbon dioxide emissions this decade,” Hansen said in a statement.

But now, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has moved the goal posts again, saying we have only another 12 years. Funny that the deadline is always about 10 years out in the future, yet the end of the world is near. Enough to scare people and governments out of their money. But the deadline never arrives. So Ocasio-Cortez now says the world will end if we don’t act in 12 years.
These doom-and-gloomers understood that as Asia took our middle-class jobs they’d want a middle-class standard of living - and they couldn’t imagine a few billion more people driving in cars or living in detached single-family homes. This will be for the 1%ers, and the rest of us will live in worker hives and use mass transit...

The old farmer’s almanac predicted a wet and warm winter here in Texas. I haven’t run my sprinklers since August and we dipped below freezing maybe a handful of nights.
I trust that book way more than any goof that tries to predict what the weather will be in 20 years.

About a year earlier, Ted Danson predicted that NYC and LA would be under water within 10 yrs. if we didn’t DO SOMETHING about climate change immediately. Too bad that bubble dweller couldn’t go back to his old gig as Sam the bartender in Cheers, at least that was somewhat entertainig.
In 2019, they have now given us a 12 year window until 2031 to save the planet...
In 2032 I suspect we will get a 14 year window until 2046 to save the planet...

30 years. BTW I live on Long Island NY right by the sea. That sea level has not risen a freakin inch in all that time. I know, because there’s a pier right near where I live and I remember looking at the water level by one of the support beams back then and it’s in the same freakin place with each passing tide. You can see where the water level cuts off with barnacles and algae and above it is clean wood. Same with New York city down by the lower east side. If the water level was rising the FDR drive would have been flooded by now. That street is only a few feet above the water level which you can see right here, and it’s been there since the island was first colonized and was used as a shipping port. The left is BULLSH*TTING PEOPLE.......
A lot farmers and ranchers survived due to The Farmers Almanac.
The only value of tv weathermen might be warning us of tornadoes, hail storms or blizzards heading our way at this moment.
Go out and post this on every social media site. Use today’s date and at the end put 1989. Will frost the left.
I have heard a lot of people poo-poo the Old Farmer’s almanac, but I will tell you, it is more right than wrong year after year.

None of these people deal with facts. It's all about their feelings, their morals and the unicorn farts they smell for breakfast every morning.
Thank God, I think a trend is forming. Americans, and I stress Americans, because God knows global warming is religion in my country, are basically tuning out on global warming now. No one wants to be labelled a “denier” so most people aren’t willing to publicly voice dissent, but most I am starting to observe are just not buying the gloom and doom anymore. It’s like no one wants to say that little boy in shorts and a dirty shirt is a bald faced liar when he yells “wolf” - but we all know he is.
You just can’t change “global warming” to climate change and then double down on your claims during the coldest winter in 26 years and have any credibility remain.
To paraphrase Orwell: The date for Climate Change Disaster is 2050. It always has been 2050. It never was 2000, or 2005, or 2015, or 2020 . . . . .
