Democratic Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY) responded to questions from supporters Sunday in an Instagram Live session, explaining her Green New Deal and why “we’re screwed on climate” and are dying.
“The whole premise of the Green New Deal is that we’re screwed on climate,” she said. “Like, I’m sorry to break it to you. If we do nothing, there is no hope, period. That’s just a principle across the board. If we do not act there is no hope. The only time we can hope is when we act. But when it comes to climate in particular, we’re actually screwed.”
She continued: “There is a global threat to the planet. A global threat. At this point, we don’t even have to prove it — just walk outside in winter in a lot of places, and it’s either way worse than you’re used to, or way warmer than you’re used to. Hurricanes, storms, wildfires, we are dying now.”

I’ve been here much longer than you and have seen many things. The climate isn’t changing. It is just like it was 50 years ago.

Not a press conference. She was "gramming" live from her kitchen; drinking wine, making chili, and telling her millions of followers that the world is coming to an end.

AOC is one of those who claims, when confronted with actual intelligence, "But, I have common sense...", and then, with that self-justification, continues to spout this nonsense, that her handlers are feeding her.
There were hurricanes, storms and wildfires long before you were born and they’ll still be here long after you’re gone.
This point is a good point which gets lost in the propaganda.
Remember how they pushed “Superstorm Sandy” as a key example of global warming. Personally, I think it’s partly because the media, being centered in New York as they are, personally felt those effects, and magnified those effects in their reporting.
But while hurricane force storms are unusual on the New York/New Jersey coast, they have happened in the past. There was a severe hurricane which struck Long Island in 1938. Hurricanes are not unheard of all the way up the Atlantic Coast.
And now they are naming winter storms on the Weather Channel, as if they are hurricanes, and also pushing global warming with each report on that channel.
Method to her madness.
Stoke the chicken little panic over impending doom and use it as a vehicle to introduce vast amounts of socialism.
Like she said, “She’s the boss!”
The kids in school now will have so much despair that they’re going to spend the next 12 years partying like it’s 2029.
AOC, sacrifice yourself to the great volcano god and save us all! Quit talking about it and get crackin’!

Poor thing!! I feel sadness for these young things that “have no hope but within themselves and the power they think they have”. They have much to learn... life will hand them troubles and happenstances which may or may not be their own making.. but there will be a time coming when THEY can not fix it... they will run out of their own “miracles”. And the athiest will have no more hope when their own fails..
