The judge should dismiss this case immediately and fine the plaintiffs’ attorneys for contempt of court. Better yet, put them in jail for 30 days.
Yep sue them for being in the USA illegally while all this
suing is going on. Meantime take them to the Rio Grande
and let them wade across and tell them their prison time
starts when they come north of the Rio Grande again.

You know, I’m not really comfortable with the feds hauling everyone there in and only then questioning about immigration status.
I would be rather upset if I were working somewhere and such a raid hauled dozens or hundreds of us into jail and then *eventually* let go everyone except the people violating the law.

I think - just my opinion- that if they had a warrant or specified it as an immigration raid, and had the ability on the spot to determine who was illegal, it would have been OK; just arresting everyone in a building and sorting them all out later is not something I’d like to be a part of.
Not saying the result was bad, but seems pretty heavy handed.
OTOH, screw SPLC.

It’s time we consider illegal entry by any person who is a non Mexican citizen illegally entering the United States through the US Mexican border a defacto Mexican citizen with limited Mexican constitutional rights subject to their laws while transiting. As well as any Mexican citizen doing so. Subject to reciprocal citizen treatment a citizen of the United States receives in Mexico through the Mexican constitution on citizenship .
Besides being unable to vote one must also be a citizen to own land and Mexico is very restrictive about granting citizenship. Because of that a US citizen besides not being able to vote,and cannot have title in their name to any land property in Mexico. And until that is changed the US and the affected state should consider making that reciprocal.prohibiting citizens of Mexico or countries with similar restrictions from doing both voting and land ownership.. .
