Justice Department preparing for Mueller report as early as next week
CNN ^ | 02/20/2019 | Evan Perez, Laura Jarrett and Katelyn Polantz

Attorney General Bill Barr is preparing to announce as early as next week the completion of Robert Mueller's Russia investigation, with plans for Barr to submit to Congress soon after a summary of Mueller's confidential report, according to people familiar with the plans.

The preparations are the clearest indication yet that Mueller is nearly done with his almost two-year investigation.

The precise timing of the announcement is subject to change.

The scope and contours of what Barr will send to Congress remain unclear. Also unclear is how long it will take Justice officials to prepare what will be submitted to lawmakers.

But with President Donald Trump soon to travel overseas for a summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, Justice officials are mindful of not interfering with the White House's diplomatic efforts, which could impact the timing.

The Justice Department and the special counsel's office declined to comment.

Barr has said that he wants to be as "transparent" as possible with Congress and the public, "consistent with the rules and the law."

Haman was flying high until the king discovered the real facts about the conspiracy. Then he was hanging high.

Lock her up? Ha. String her up.

Sums it up quite well. Not surprising for those of us who paid close attention to the O’muslim treason regime.

Unfortunately, I don’t think PDJT has any support in D.C. to bring any of these co-conspirators to justice.

“is he running it or being ridden by someone else? “

Mueller is a tool. The O’muslim/Hillary/Soros/Jarrett shadow coup is running this.

Then he asked the wrong questions when he hired AGs.

The reporting responsibilities of a special counsel and the U.S. Attorney General are detailed in 28 CFR 600 of the DOJ regulations.

Under 28 CFR § 600.9 (Notification and reports by the Attorney General) ... the U.S. Attorney General reports the chairman and ranking minority member of the Judiciary Committee in each house of Congress when: (1) a special counsel is appointed, (2) a special counsel is fired, and (3) at the conclusion of the investigation.

There's a twist to Item (3), too. The U.S. Attorney General is NOT obligated -- by law or under these DOJ regulations -- to simply hand over a report from the special counsel to Congress. He's just required to provide a summary report outlining the activities of the special counsel and the cases under prosecution.

“We need 3-5 special councils”

There will be no Special Counsel.

None. AG Barr is against the use of a Special Counsel. After what has occurred here, it’s more than doubtful he will change his mind about it. Far from it.

Now here comes the Leftist spin to make a mountain out of nothing.

I will believe it when I see it. The last time I heard the term transparent used, the lying African used it. God has never , until now, created as big of a liar as he is. But then again, any Nation that elects a son of a bitch such as him to rule them deserves what they get. A majority of voters in the United States of America did that twice in succession.

Interesting. I wasn’t aware the DOJ regulations were still in play. They certainly weren’t when Rotten Rod appointed the special counsel without a crime.

What’s the DOJ guidelines on reporting a coup from the deep-state?

“As per Rush, likely to say no collusion but Trump a dupe.”

The report goes to AG Barr. What he is likely to do and issue is subject to his oversight and rewrite and summarization.

I’d expect that will be a bottom line summary. All the BS about President Trump being anything other than innocent will be eliminated.

There’s no way, no how AG Barr will allow BS to be put out on this garbage “investigation.”

Prepare to hear a whining roar of complaint from the Rats like you’ve never heard before followed with massive pantomimes how they must investigate it themselves.

That’s all this will be.

New AG must have hinted about shutting it down. So again mueller floats the BS story that he is about to wrap it up so no need to do anything. Then once everyone is distracted again mueller goes right back underminning America for another 6 months.

Exactly right and that’s all we’ll see to the chagrin on hypnotized Dems.

The dems will just subpoena Mueller. His ‘report’ will come out one way or the other.

Barr maybe tasked with sweeping this massive conspiracy under the carpet but I don’t think the left are going to let off the gas pedal

“The dems will just subpoena Mueller. His ‘report’ will come out one way or the other.”

They can subpoena him and question him until the cows come home. He can’t do diddly.

As for his “report” that will also face the editor’s pen in the AG’s office. The BS is over.
