An 11-year-old Florida student was arrested for allegedly threatening to beat his teacher because he refused to recite the Pledge of Allegiance, calling the pledge “racist” to black people.
The boy was removed from a classroom at Lawton Chiles Middle Academy in Lakeland, Florida, and arrested by a school resource officer on February 4 after he allegedly refused to obey school officials’ orders, Bay News 9 reported Friday.
The officer then took the sixth-grader to a juvenile detention center, where officials charged him two misdemeanor offenses— disrupting a school function and resisting arrest without violence. School officials also suspended him for three days.
The alleged incident began when a substitute teacher asked the student to stand for the pledge.
The student, who usually does not stand for the pledge, replied that he would not participate in the Pledge of Allegiance because he believed the American flag is racist and the national anthem is offensive towards black people.
The substitute teacher pushed back, telling district officials she told the student, “Why if it was so bad here, he did not go to another place to live.”
“They brought me here,” the boy reportedly replied.
“Well you can always go back, because I came here from Cuba and the day I feel I’m not welcome here anymore I would find another place to live,” the teacher then reportedly answered, before calling in other school officials to deal with the student.
Things escalated when the boy allegedly refused to follow school officials’ orders, called them racists, threatened to beat the teacher and get the school officials fired, according to the arrest affidavit.

Your words are true. In many high school classrooms around our nation the attack on 911 was celebrated with cheers and laughter. I know because my child witnessed the cheers and laughter and I did some research. Was amazing what happened and. has grown worse since 911.
I have zero tolerance or empathy for “inner-city kids”. None....
It’s almost as if God knew how they’d be before they were born, that their deck would be worthless in the game of life and all that they’d offer would amount to destruction. Proof is in stories like these that I’ve read hundreds of times over.
There is a verse in scripture about stubborn fools being created for destruction. 2 Peter 2:11 describes them as “brute beasts created to be taken and destroyed”.

He was arrested. He would likely have been given a medal in CA.

Sorry, I have no idea.
I recall that if immigrants in a class feel uncomfortable about seeing the American flag in the classroom they can have the administration remove the flag. Not sure if a state thing or national.
I always say if I went to Iran,Pakistan, North Korea or China I would demand they put up Judeo Christian pictures, have me take off for all religious holidays (paid days off)and allow me to make religious observances I’m comfortable with in my native America. No dice.
The way I expect to arrive: just waltz in through the nonexistant borders and show up. I expect to sign up for instant welfare, housing, food, medical care and voting rights NOW.

The NYC public school system, under the commie mayor Comrade Bill DumblASSio, has exactly the same policy. They practically forbid teachers to suspend students of "color"--by far, the biggest number of students acting out--and so handed the misbehaving students a free pass to vandalize, threaten, beat up, steal from others, etc. This has, of course, resulted in a climate where teachers have to tiptoe around their students, for fear of the students "not liking them" and therefore subjecting them to violence, disruption of classes, submitting false statements of misdoing by the teacher (much like Jussie Smollett has just done), etc.
Fools.
It is my theory that many black youths do not want to go through the trouble of learning at school. They believe that once they become marketeers for the illegal drug industry, they have a career better than any of those fools trying to make a GPA that gets them into college. People should know better. People should know that such careers are dead ends where these marketeers end up dead or rotting in prison. 2 + 2 = 4. We know that the fantasy of easy money has led millions to the same ends. It is called living in the fantasy world of the Unicorn Farm.
My question is, why are not more trying to rip away the curtain of this fantasy world? Why has leniency taken roost and the big lie continued to reign? This a form of genocide, where people let a race commit suicide by keeping them ignorant.
Sadly the teacher came from Cuba and knew what real desparation felt like.

Having been a substitute teacher for a very short time, I understand the position she was in. The Principle should have taken over and diffused the situation and later explained the rules to the sub.
But also having been a 6th grader, standing for principles, the principle should have discussed and emotionalessly challenged the kid concerning his threat and how successful such a tactic is not as well as acknowledging his right not stand for the P of A. It might not have worked but there is a possibility it would.

The school my sister teaches at always takes the side of the students and never listens to the teachers. The teachers are left at sea with nobody looking out for them. They have a big problem with teachers calling it quits mid-year which is a rather new phenomena. The kids rule the place.

I’d take a belt to his ass if it were my kid. But that’s just me. He should grow up to be a big mouth thug until he ends up in a “drug deal gone bad” and gets his ass shot.
