I can remember all the hue & cry over the Alaska pipeline. It was going to decimate the caribou, etc.
The caribou not only didn’t get far away, they are actually calving Under & very near the pipeline...because the oil is heated in the pipeline & they link the extra warmth.
The caribou have proven to be smarter than the enviros.
